Lost letter where to collect if possible?

Hi, my friend posted a letter to me from cork to Mayo but put in the wrong address, where do I go from here. Would the letter be kept anywhere. Thanks

This isnt a business question - please post in an appropriate forum.

To answer your question if the address exists it was sent to incorrectly the letter will be delivered to that address - what the person does with it there is up to them. If it doesnt exist then it will most likely be sent to the National Returned Letter Centre as undelivered.
