Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Or TV3 on soarview!

I've never watched Quest before and that won't change. Picture is awful though the polishing masterclass instead of half time punditry was different.

Barcelona playing brilliantly here. Great showing.

    Greatest ever surely!

It's good but Lee Dixon still takes it, he sizes up the distance and has more style to boot.

So hard to grasp what he's actually trying to do there!!!

Goal! The President scores against Madrid. Doesn't get much sweeter than that.

Lads Messi is doing one of his magic shows and the European champions are his audience.

The back pass rule wasn't introduced until 1992 so id say hes trying to put it into Seamans hands but hits it to high.

United to shade it 3-2, they should be fitter than madrid.

Madrid score an offside goal. Well I don't believe it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,592 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

Tough call on the offside, Madrid getting on top now, showing their class

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Slightly offside ah well it was coming

Was off. What is it with Real Madrid and offside goals given in their favour? That's why Real are against the introduction of video reffing I believe. As it stands they get most of those calls in their favour.

Ronnie Wheelon retracts earlier opinion of man Utd.

They are at sixes and sevens

Utd started really well but after first ten minutes we haven't been pushing.
    Impressive from Madrid now.
Modric and Kross playing with style

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Took Ronnie all of 20 minutes to row back on his initial comments about how great United looked.

Probably best not to jump to conclusions after 8 minutes I suppose.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

    That was onside

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

Definitely offside, but RM well in control now.
The aul water break might help Utd, they needed a break the way it was going.

What's the humidity like? Can make a big difference.. it was agreed earlier in the week anyways as they were expecting it to be hotter

No one will ever take him on those wages now.

Been poor tonight but can be a threat against weaker sides.

Think Utd have done ok so far. Game is still on.

    Matic has been excellent

Could have been a peno to Modric, Isco is becoming a very nice midfielder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Isco really reminds me of Hazard, could argue he goes down easy but he seems to invite fouls so well.

Tell that to stan back in 94.
