The strikes in round 3 were split down the middle, Lawler hurt him with the body kicks. Easily scoreable for him. The early pressure in round 1 more impressive than the knees, elbows and takedown.

I read an iterview with a ref who said that even if he sees what he percieves to be an eye poke he'll let the fight carry on unless there is a reaction from the affected fighter.

His logic being that, he could be wrong and end up pausing the action for nothing.

Well I've been saying it to anyone who will listen all week that Lina Lansberg made it to Round 2 as well, and Tonya is more durable than Lina and will lose late in Round 2...
