How many names are allowed on bill?

    Hi i was just wondering how many names are allowed to be on a bill? there are currently 2 names and would be looking to add a 3rd if possible

    The maximum number of names that can appear on an Electric Ireland bill is two.

    The only way to add another name is to close the current account and reopen the account in the other person's name.

    Actually one more question! Would it possible to remove a name and replace it with a different name?

    Hi Kavita,

    We are happy to assist.

    We need to advise that it is not possible to replace a name on a bill - the same name(s) have to remain at all times on a specific account.

    More than two people can be authorised contacts to discuss the account, but just one or two names can be displayed on the bill.
