    Quick question for you all.

We are due to close on a house purchase this Friday. Everything running smoothly up until now. We have signed and vendors have signed (we met them last week and they told us), but the signed contracts have not been received. Our bank is ready to drawdown, they are just waiting for the go ahead from our solicitor who has been chasing the vendors solicitor like mad to find out what's going on.

EA is on the case too. My question is if the funds dont get to our solicitor until Thursday (assuming contracts are received tomorrow) is it possible to still close and get the keys Friday? Is that enough time?

Someone in the vendors solicitors office is on holiday, which I think is delaying things their end.

    Thanks
