Trivia, Craig is now around the same age Connery was making Never Say Never Again. Both movies about Bond coming out of retirement, played by actors who swore they wouldn’t play the role again.

He's also now the longest serving Bond, having got the part in 2005. Roger Moore got the role in 1972 and left it in 85.

He is looking well in that poster, apparently i heard the demands of the role are taking its toll on his body so probably a good time for him to take a step back.

That poster looks like a fan made it.

Cameraphone picture of Bond with the title in some 2003 font.

    That's being too kind :pac:
I think the font looks like something out of the 60s. Which would lead into them "going back old school roots" blah blah. Doesn't look great in any case.

Ye he looks a lot older than he did in Spectre there, to be honest it reminds me of Connery in Never Say Never Again or Moore in his last few Bonds.

I’d say the movies are hard work but the press junket and interviews are even worse. Especially now with all the social media commitments.

    That's harsh!

I don't think Craig is too old, but they should at least stop cramming him into clothes 2 sizes too small for him.

The crazy thing is I dont see Craig as being that old. Weird.
Maybe cause I watched Casino Royale when it came out in the cinema and he was what 38? I dunno. He is 51 and nothing is gonna change that but I just don't see him as being 51.

Maybe he looks good for his age or something ....

Teaser trailer for the trailer which arrives on Wednesday

Looking forward to this. Was really disappointed with Spectre after the brilliant Skyfall, hopefully this will be a return to form and he leaves the role as he started it with Casino Royale.

Yes ,suits are too small and terrible buzz cut haircuts.

He'd look much better in a proper fitting suit and longer hair.

Apparently the female agent in this movie will have "weight issues". We all know where this is going.

The studios refuse to learn the lesson of recent woke alternatives to long running franchises.

    It does not work.

Just give us a good Bond movie.

Oh good. It had been whole days since we last had a rant about "woke", wouldn't do to just talk about movies now.

Source perhaps, instead of going completely off into rant territory?

That it is a complete mangling of a quote from Lashana Lynch on her character.
"I didn't want someone who was slick. I wanted someone who was rough around the edges and who has a past and a history and has issues with her weight and maybe questions what's going on with her boyfriend."

i.e. She wanted her character to have some human attributes.

Haha, is that all? FFS, give me a break. Are people really that desperate for an excuse to rant online now?

Who wants pleasantly plump women in Bond movies Pixelburp? Or the addressing of women's issues?

It's a Bond movie! Only beautiful women.

Sigh. Maybe google Lashana Lynch before completely knitting your pearls in disgust about "plump" women. I'm not even going to touch the insinuation you're making about beauty. Jesus Wept.

And as this is the film forum, I didn't think it needs pointing out but ... ya know actors tend to inject some context into their roles, usually for their own edification and prep. for the role? Often not even part of the script.

My word. It must be legitimately exhausting getting incensed about such an innocuous comment.

I'll be the one to say it ... Lashana Lynch has a very big black booty..... and that's a good thing

She is no Halle Berry , shouldn’t Bond girls be hot?

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

    She is actually well hot.
She was in Captain Marvel. Dont think her current hairstyle suits her the best tho.

Think Lynch is pretty striking myself, and most Bond Girls kinda interchangeable so ... yah know. Beauty in Eye of the Beholder, shocking news! :)

Given we still don't know what role Lynch is playing, who can say if she's even w*nk materi... sorry, a "Bond Girl" in the first place? :) It's reckoned she's playing "007" which still makes me think she'll have 10 minutes of screen-time before bumped off.

Just want a Bond with nice cars, guns, gadgets, a decent villain and Bond getting plenty of fanny. Not much to ask for.
