Great new 30 for 30 podcast arrived yesterday. This one about boxer James Scott.

"How does a professional boxer, convicted of armed robbery in 1975, end up rising in the ranks of the sport — from inside a state penitentiary? The Fighter Inside is the unlikely story of an inmate who wanted to continue his boxing career while behind bars, and the visionary prison warden who made his dream a reality."

I didn't know either. Seems like they just started in the last month.

This was the first season of them. Last nights was the last for the moment. Was the only boxing one, but the others are all very good. the boxing one was amazing though. A fighter moving up through the top 10 in the LHW division, while locked up in prison.

yeah. a pity that there is such a low number of podcasts in a season.
sounds like an experiment from ESPN to dip their toe into podcasting.
obviously ESPN's business is all about pay-tv subscriptions, not podcasts.

    Boxing Asylum
    HBO Podcast
    Next Big Pod
    Boxing Coalition
    Chris Mannix Podcast
    The Boxing Rant

Big fan of all of those although the Asylum and NBP have gone a bit downhill in recent times imo. All cut the propaganda **** you get on Sky and call it like it is pretty much though which is all you need really.

Cheers, I must have a look at a few of them. I'm surprised the HBO one would be covering fights that are not on their network?
They don't unfortunately. Only cover HBO fights which are few and far between. Their breakdowns are very good usually though when they do them. Also have the odd decent spin off episode.
