Molly Martens Facebook page has photos of the children all over it,can she be forced to close it down now?

Her posts on it really show how obsessive she was about them being 'her' kids, especially the little girl imo

Surely plea bargains happen before a case starts?

If the sentence seems unusually lenient, there's gonna be a lot of interest in that document.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Its likely to be a character reference from the FBI

How come that was withheld from evidence? Should it not have been disclosed at least?

Was a physchiatric evaluation for herself

Inevitable really. Jason's family did say she was unhinged.

Still though, it smacks of them knowing she was going to go down for it.

Hope she gets sent to a psych facility instead of let off, those places are even less fun than prison, I've heard.

It would have been even worse if custody of the children had been granted to Molly in the previous court battle. That would have meant even more trauma for them during the trial and now. At least they've been somewhat shielded from that, having been cared for by the Lynch family back in Limerick.

Pyschiatric evaluation? Ah for Gods sake, don't tell me she's trying to get hospitalised instead of imprisoned?

Marten's defense now going over their requests, say he's no danger to the community. He's 67 years old.

No danger? Two years ago he beat a man's head in with a baseball bat!

If she has been found guilty of murder can a psychiatric report impact the sentence?

Like here it's usually a defence option

was just thinking that he clearly was a danger in 2015, why should 2017 be any different?

Only if it showed diminished responsibility at the time of the incident. No need to disclose it during the case, in fact it might harm a defence in doing it then.

Letter probably something to do with him being in the FBI and how his life would be in danger in certain prisons they might be looking to have him placed somewhere secure..
