Released to stations yesterday I believe, embargo is up at 12 noon tomorrow.

What're people's thoughts on what might happen?

I'll be interested to see how 2FM perform as ever. Relatively good book last time so can they build...

It's NT's last book with the old schedule I believe.

Wow the most complained about stations on here make gains, you'd swear people on here were experts and knew everything...

    So todayFm are continuing sliding.
    Hardly surprising.
All started to go south when they got rid of Anton..
Nice to see people are moving away from Darcy. About time.

    You're wrong here.

Today FM have been trending downwards since long before Anton's departure.

In fact, the largest dip they ever took was the changeover from Ray D'Arcy to Anton, and Anton failed to halt the slide, not to mind build an audience. In fact, Ray D'Arcy himself was losing listeners before he left, as was the lunchtime show, the afternoon slot and Matt Cooper.

So yeah, let's not try and pretend that this is a recent phenomenon just because people are pissed off over management decisions.

Final nail in the coffin so..
Was around his show that had our office tuned in anyway. Newstalk now

Shocked that newstalk breakfast went up by 4k and that their drivetime hasstayed static and not gone down at all.

Both slots are imo not even shadows of their previous versions

Today FM – we have rebranded, launched two major prime time shows, rolled out a heavy weight brand campaign, completed a nationwide comedy tour with Dermot & Dave and signed rising star Al Porter.

If ever there was an apt description of their current lineup, it's that.

Colm Hayes and dan Healy seem to have had a few choice words for each other over today's jnlr numbers.

Unmeasurably small probably. Possibly even literally without any listeners whatsoever.

    50,000.

There was no mention as to whether he gained listeners. Well, there was nothing on his Twitter page. Hopefully he did gain more.

This is fascinating. Judging by the top 10 programs, it seems that local radio in Cork is more popular than any national station. Yes, I know we have to be careful how we interpret this based on only the top 10 - even so! Only Number 8 and Number 10 are RTE Radio 1 and there are no other nationals in the Top 10. The figures are overwhelmingly Cork stations. It would be interesting to see what is the most popular program in Cork for each of the following stations - 2FM, Newstalk, Today FM and 4FM - and where they come in at in the top programs.

A fuller picture of the state of the stations for Cork could be gleamed if we had the listenership figures for all the stations - local, national and regional (4FM). I would be surprised if it was very different from what the Top 10 seems to suggest.

I suspect that this scenario (local trumping national/semi-national) is to be replicated throughout the country.
