Headstuff and Aiken are bringing a Podcast Festival to Dublin, may be of interest to some of you because as well as Irish podcasts (An Irishman Abroad, Juvenalia, The Alison Spittle Show, Fascinated) they're bringing some huge international podcasts (S-Town, My Dad Wrote a Porno, Welcome to Nightvale, Criminal, The Memory Palace).

More details here, tickets go onsale for most shows on Monday. There are some masterclasses about podcasting from the Guardian and other workshop type things as well.

(Full disclosure, I'm involved with one of these podcasts but not with the organisation of the festival).

Interesting. There's a few there that I'd be interested in checking out.

Looks interesting. Loads of stuff going on by the looks of it.

Not to be too much of a moaning Michael but the website isn't the best working site I've ever seen. It would be handy to have the feature of being able to see more information - a decsription of each show, what to expect etc, etc - by clicking on the individual event. It's all well and good to know the where and the when, but there's other pertinent information that you should be able to find out about also. As it is now a click just brings you back to the page you were already on, which is a bit frustrating.

Full lineup is up on the site now.

Full disclosure - my podcast is one of the ones at the festival. Reviewables opening up for PJ Gallagher's Dubland on the 25th.

The all-day podcast ticket for the 24th looks good to me - a nice varied day of podcasting action.
