    Hi All,

can you recommend some outdoor activities for adults in the Killarney region.

It would be a group of around 10 - 12. Open to all suggestions - cycling, kayaking, etc, etc.

If there is an event organiser in Kilarney, it would be great if you could let me know.

    cheers

Can you be a little more specific, which would you prefer???

Canoeing on the Lake or Laune
    Guided hike up Carrantouhill
    Cycle Tour
Boat on the Lakes & hike the Gap

Loads to do but if you norrow it down, I'll give you the operators

any of the above really, but maybe something nearer to Killarney. I assume Carrantouhill and the Gap are out of town a bit?

There's a good few bike rental places in town.

    Just google bike rental Killarney.

    www.killarneycyclingtours.com/

    www.cyclingkillarney.com/

    www.killarneyrentabike.com/

You can go canoeing/kayaking from Ross Castle which is about a mile from town.

You can go horse-riding in the national park from stables out in Ballydowney - Just about a mile outside town as well.

Go to http://killarney.ie/listing-category/things-to-do/ and click on outdoor activities to see more.

    You can do the Gap/Lakes.
Boat from Ross Castle to Lord Brandons Cottage, Hike down the Gap to Kate Kearneys Cottage and get the Bus back to Killarney

    http://www.gapofdunloetours.com/ are pretty good

If you like walks, Mangerton and Torc much nearer, Torc particularly accessible with a boardwalk to the top. No need for guides.

Try the Killarney High Ropes in Fossa, a few miles outside of town.
