    Hi all,

I'm trying to do the below in excel. Basically I have a column with a code that has a letter as the start of it (thousands of cells in the column).

I want to remove the first letter from each cell.

However, when I insert a new column alongside it and do a formula to remove the first letter and then delete the incorrect column, the formula fails.

Example below. If anyone could help it would be great. Basically, I need column A to get the S off every cell

    Thanks v much

Write formula, copy the results and do 'Paste Special -> Values'.

Will a find and replace do it?
