Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there any bigger waste of tax payers money than our national broadcaster. The fact that we are expected to pay a licence fee to watch a load of dross on RTE is surely one of the big injustices of our time, the fact that there is such poor programming being produced by the station, surely doesn't justify it, in fact i don't even bother with RTE at all these days, there's so much more to choose from cable and online, RTE has little relevance anymore. Yes it has decent sports coverage, but then so do other TV stations and online, so that's not a huge advantage either, i just find it overall that there is hardly anything worth watching on the channel and most of its political broadcasting is very agenda driven and one sided and just simply boring. How much of the rest of you feel about it do you think our state broadcaster is justified or not, because i don't believe it is but i would like to know if you think differently about it or not, thanks.

This really feels like more of an After Hours thread, given it's such a well-worn barstool topic.
