    Saw some for sale in a kitchen shop on Wicklow Street in Dublin, but can't remember the price, but you'd probably do better online.

    Nisbets have them online but they are the polypropylene ones. They also have the cloth covers for them.

    Would a fruit basket not do the same job.you could probably get one in a charity shop for a euro.Lol maybe it wouldnt work just a thought

    This arrived today, pretty good item I have to say. Really well made

    So anyone got a sourdough reciepe? Although my starter is on day two. I think this one will be too complicated to start

    Friend gave me this recipe

    1tsp of dry active yeast
    1cup of water
    1cup of plain flour
    Mix ingredients
    Sit for 3-12hrs 3-6gives best result
    Add half tsp of salt
    2cups of plain flour
    Mix ingredients

    I made it and im not great at baking it turned out great made a pizza base with mine

    Ah ok no probs you could probably just swap out the packet of yeast id guess im new to.baking sorry if I sound like a noob lol

    He has a page for "The common loaf" all u need to know about getting starter going & maintaining it as well as a recipe & method for the bread. Aldi have 1kg bags of organic Rye flour available at the moment.
