Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all
Im filling in our ESTA forms and in the space for passport number it only allows nine digits but all our passports have ten? they all start with P as in P123456789 so do i drop the P on them all? cant find anything online or get them on the phone as they are closed.

any help would be much appreciated

Are you reading that number from the bottom line of the photo page? On my passport there is an extra digit on that line just before 'IRL' but that's probably a check digit which is not part of the passport number. The same string without the tenth character is in the upper right corner of the page, that's the string you need to use.

Make sure you're using the official website .... https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

very sorry only seen this now been a stressful few days, we found out through the embassy we had indeed out the wrong number in. we put the bottom left hand number in instead of the top right-hand one so then had to redo the five of them and pay the seventy dollars again 😩 thank you for responding

Hi, I’ve an approved visa waiver for the U.S. I’ve been to New York in 2016 and visiting Boston at the end of the month. I’ve went to update my address for the address I’ll be staying at in Boston and done so successfully. But the second address that appears on the print out says New York, I can’t edit this piece and just want to make sure that this is still ok to travel with ? One address says Boston and the following address (address 2) Says New York. Any info would be great

That's not a field that causes a problem and you say that the new address is stored - I wouldn't worry if the original address is still there, that's not your fault.

If you don't feel 100% comfortable with the situation, just apply for a new ESTA, it won't raise any red flags and will only cost you $14 for peace of mind but if I was you I'd be happy that there wouldn't be a problem with your current ESTA.

Your API is linked to your ESTA so I wouldn't worry about it.
