Paying a gardener for advice

    [font=arial, sans-serif]I'm starting working on my new garden, I have a design for it, but i need some advice on layouts etc. Ideally I'd like to get a gardener to come on site with me for a half day to help mark out the garden etc. I'm wondering would many gardeners be interested in this type of consultancy work ?[/font]

    Plenty if the price is right. I got one quote (to include drawings) at €700. Alternatively if you're going to get landscapers in to do the job they'll do the planning for free, but don't expect decent drawings.
