    Anyone know if theres any bus services limerick to waterford other than bus eireann? :) and where it leaves from.

    There is also two trains services each way Monday - Saturday that don't require going via Dublin

    irish rail have plans to switch this to a direct service and increase daily service. theres a report on line upgrades on their timetables page. no idea when its supposed to happen

    sorry, can't seem to find it anywhere. it was a report listed under "line improvement works". as far as i remember it looked at upgrading and closing routes. the plan (or recommendation) was to cut down on the shuttles from limerick junction/colbert and use the limerick/waterford train as a replacement.

    the report said there is low demand going from limerick to waterford but that there is demand between limerick and tipp or waterford and tipp so the line is viable if frequency is increased.
