Children's novels as Gaeilge

Hi there,

I am looking for some names of children's novels that have been translated to Irish, or are just as Gaeilge. Have found Harry potter, and Faoin Sceach Gheal, but thats it so far.

Does anyone know of any others?

Lots of the Horrid Henry books are available as Dónall Dána. Also David Walliams An Billiúnaí Beag. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is Dialann Dúrdáin - I know of two. Also several An Cúigear Cróga (Famous Five) short stories (not originals). Sprioclá (Deadline) by John Townsend.

Not sure what age kids you have in mind. However, for 12 and up I still love this edited version of the Peadar Ó Laoghaire classic Séanna/Séadna (1898/1904). It has a 70-minute-long cd with the Innti poet Liam Ó Muirthile doing the reading, and scary sounds depending on what the story is saying. The Irish is beautiful to read, too.
