Help to identify this plant / bush

Hi Trying to identify this plant which is growing in the business park I work in. Maintenance team in this week cut it back to clear footpath but the guy I asked about it didn't know the plant name. Bush grows to approx 3m, from what I've seen.

Looks like Escallonia. Easy enough shrub but needs to be trimmed back as it grows or it will get leggy.

Thanks for that. Looking for something for a country garden or can fill in gaps in hedges that has a bit of colour.
