    The 5 minutes of it I caught this morning (I actually can't listen to morty anyway) was cringeworthy.

    YMCA by the Village People is apparently a rock song? Wha? Why was it being discussed? did I miss something?

    I thought it was a disco song...

    last week harry styles (used to be in one direction) made one of the Radio Nova music news items, because he performed a cover of a fleetwood mac song on bbc radio 1 recently :eek:

    Only a matter of time before she is permanently on breakfast in my opinion. Unless for some reason they can't afford her. It would be nice to have her back on regular breakfast radio again, however much of a failure her show with Rick O'Shea might have been!

    I can't listen when the the rock report comes on anymore, I actually have to change station. no idea why, it just grates on me. maybe its the delivery.

    Listening less and less to Nova, and I used to like it.

    Stuck in a car this morning with a mate who loves that Moaning gloomy show.."its just a bit of laugh"..he defends :rolleyes:..Hayes and Co were doing this WTF segment, yawn, and getting all moist about three "dance" tracks from the year 1993....fcuk sake...:mad:

    Have to say I am quite missing Alice Cooper. Although if they are broadening their playlist to include other genres, then it kind of makes sense that they dropped his show...

    I think the likeliest explanation for Ruth only being on weekends is they probably can't afford to have her on five days a week.

    Covered for Greg Gaughran today. It really is a shame that she is only ever on weekdays when someone else is off, she deserves better.

    Has Ruth gone? She's been removed from the schedule on Nova.ie, it now says "Saturday Mornings with Lisa Gernon" and "Weekends with Liam Quigley".

    Well if she's gone from Nova then somewhere between 12pm and 4pm on Today FM would be ideal for her. Wonder has she specifically left so she can join Today FM or what? Wouldn't be surprised if she gets a weekday show on the coming months.

    Rang in to Nova a moment ago, it was Pat and he says he has no idea what the situation is with Ruth. He did bring up the legal situation between her and 2FM, which was similar to what happened to the female DJ who used to be on after him afterwards.

    She's been removed from the schedule on nova.ie it is listing Dee Woods as the host of Friday Night 80s and there is no presenter listed at all for Saturday and Sunday Mornings.
