    Hi y'all
I got a new Rega turntable and have an old pair of Jamo Cornet speakers - looking for an amp to make the most of both.
...Or am I better off getting a unit (CD player / bluetooth / DAB etc..) with built in amp?
Can you recommend some options ...good quality/reasonable price etc..

    Thanks,
    Brian

Hi Brian thank you for your enquiry.  If I was myself I would be looking at something like the marantz pm6006

    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-13000-pm6006.aspx

It features a built in phono stage which is required to connect your Rega to an amp.

    Regards Stephen

Thanks Stephen. What about the Onkyo A9010? Pros/cons etc...

    Hey Feartheclaw.

The A9010 is also a good amp but for me the PM6006 is better.
The PM6006 is just more powerful at 45 watts per channel to the 44 watts of the A9010.
The PM6006 does have more inputs and also has digital inputs (Optical x2 and Coaxial x1).

Both have built in phono stages for your turntable.

Both units have been very well reviewed so either would be a good buy.

If you had the little extra to spend I would go for the PM6006.

    Hey Brian.

The AS301 is another good little amp but again the PM6006 would be the better of the 2.
The 301 is a little more powerful at 60watts and has a subwoofer pre out.

It really is hard to beat the Marantz.
