Best Rookie: Kenny Golladay Would have to marginally give it to Davis
Most looking forward to seeing: The defence showing some semblance of competence, which was completely lacking last season. They were better but still lots of room for improvement
Well thats fairly awful powers of prediction there, although I suppose it was a pretty unpredictable season tbf.0 -

Audacious Prediction of the Season: 4 49ers wins, Brady to be good, Ben to be injured, Cutler to throw interceptions and Newton to underperform. Not that Audacious I guess. OK, Brees to throw for 5000 yards and miss the playoffs.
Your own team:
49ers
Regular Season Record: 4-12
Best Rookie: Reuben Foster
Most looking forward to seeing: I don't know, not a lot to look forward to, 4 wins?
So much wrong, but Giants being surprisingly good must be the worst call of the year. Also missed on 6/8 divisional winners.0 -
This must be the first year in about 4 seasons that I didn't pick the Jags as my surprise team, and look what happens! :pac:AFC North Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers - Yep

Worst Overall Record: New York Jets - No.
Audacious Prediction of the Season: David Johnson to put up at least 1,000 yards in both rushing and receiving categories. He'd be only the 3rd ever player to do it and the first since Faulk in 1999. - Injured and done for the season in the first game of the year.
Your own team: Baltimore Ravens
Regular Season Record: 7-9 - No
Best Rookie: Marlon Humphrey - Yep
Most looking forward to seeing: The defense should be one of, if not the very best in the league and will slightly make up for watching the team struggling to move the chains all season - Absolutely spot on
At least I got the name of my own team right I suppose. :rolleyes:0 -
AFC North Winner: Steelers

Your own team: Redskins
Regular Season Record: 9-7 - 7-9
Best Rookie: Perine - Flashed briefly
Most looking forward to seeing: How the D kicks on. We had a very good draft on D and some solid additions in the offseason (Zach Brown, Swearinger). Coupled with Cravens moving to safety, should be interesting to see - JAllen looked good but missed half the season through injury. Brown and Swearinger were very good. Cravens missed the year. Bad year for injuries throughout, hard to take much from this season for the Skins0 -

Jack came on strong towards the end of the season
Underachieving/Over-Hyped Player: Kirk Cousins always solid
Worst Overall Record: New York Jets silly not to pick the Browns really
Audacious Prediction of the Season: Blake Bortles throws for 30+ TDs with <10 INT 21TD against 13 Int. better this season so i'll take solace in it
Your own team: Jaguars
Regular Season Record: 10-6
Best Rookie: Leonard Fournette
Most looking forward to seeing: Defense in general. Super stacked this year on the line and secondary.Well I pretty much nailed this for the first time ever. They really over exceeded in the end and couldnt be happier with how they did.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Miles Garrett- NO
Comeback Player of the Year: JJ Watt- NO
Surprise Team (Good): 49ers - not as big of a jump as some others but a big improvement on the previous year, even before the arrival of Garoppolo
Surprise Team (Bad): Cardinals - no Giants but I think the expectation was higher than an 8-8 season
Breakout Player: Marcus Mariota- NO, nearly cost me in several fantasy leagues
Underachieving/Over-Hyped Player: Jordan Howard- NO, plus 1k on a poor Bears team
Worst Overall Record: Jets- NO, not the complete disaster that was expected
Audacious Prediction of the Season: 49ers don't end up on the bottom of the NFC West - Didn't expect Rams to improve that dramatically in one offseason but not bad to end only 2 games back after losing 5 of the first 6 games by 3 points or less
Your own team: 49ers
Regular Season Record: 7-9 - ended 6-10 with those close games. Could have ended with only 2 or 3 wins if the Garoppolo trade hadn't come through
Best Rookie: Foster - YES, will be a star in the next year or two if he can keep himself on the field, both avoiding injury and suspensions
Most looking forward to seeing: Seeing improvements everywhere (not being overly optimistic at all ) along with growth the glut of rookies that have joined the squad (26% of the roster) - saw that improvement everywhere. By far the highest snaps by rookies in the league and they really started to step up and get comfortable as the season went on0
