Surprise Team (Bad): Colts - Yup, pretty terrible
Breakout Player: Josh Doctson - Nope (Redskins dreamer)
Underachieving/Over-Hyped Player: Brandin Cooks - Nope, 1K yards
Worst Overall Record: Jets - Nope
Audacious Prediction of the Season: Fournette to have 1700+ yards from scrimmage and 12+ TDs - Not exactly, 1K yards and 9 TDs but missed a few games through injury and being inactive
Your own team: Redskins
Regular Season Record: 9-7 - 7-9
Best Rookie: Perine - Flashed briefly
Most looking forward to seeing: How the D kicks on. We had a very good draft on D and some solid additions in the offseason (Zach Brown, Swearinger). Coupled with Cravens moving to safety, should be interesting to see - JAllen looked good but missed half the season through injury. Brown and Swearinger were very good. Cravens missed the year. Bad year for injuries throughout, hard to take much from this season for the Skins0 -

Breakout Player: Jaylon Smith/Myles Jack they both did meh,
Jack came on strong towards the end of the season
Underachieving/Over-Hyped Player: Kirk Cousins always solid

Audacious Prediction of the Season: Blake Bortles throws for 30+ TDs with <10 INT 21TD against 13 Int. better this season so i'll take solace in it
Your own team: Jaguars

Defensive Player of the Year: Joey Bosa- NO
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Christian McCaffrey- NO
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Miles Garrett- NO
Comeback Player of the Year: JJ Watt- NO
Surprise Team (Good): 49ers - not as big of a jump as some others but a big improvement on the previous year, even before the arrival of Garoppolo
Surprise Team (Bad): Cardinals - no Giants but I think the expectation was higher than an 8-8 season
Breakout Player: Marcus Mariota- NO, nearly cost me in several fantasy leagues
Underachieving/Over-Hyped Player: Jordan Howard- NO, plus 1k on a poor Bears team
Worst Overall Record: Jets- NO, not the complete disaster that was expected
Audacious Prediction of the Season: 49ers don't end up on the bottom of the NFC West - Didn't expect Rams to improve that dramatically in one offseason but not bad to end only 2 games back after losing 5 of the first 6 games by 3 points or less
Your own team: 49ers
Regular Season Record: 7-9 - ended 6-10 with those close games. Could have ended with only 2 or 3 wins if the Garoppolo trade hadn't come through
Best Rookie: Foster - YES, will be a star in the next year or two if he can keep himself on the field, both avoiding injury and suspensions
Most looking forward to seeing: Seeing improvements everywhere (not being overly optimistic at all ) along with growth the glut of rookies that have joined the squad (26% of the roster) - saw that improvement everywhere. By far the highest snaps by rookies in the league and they really started to step up and get comfortable as the season went on0
