It's another fascinating tie as the two men who currently lead the tag team tournament standings, Necrominus and daithi1989, find themselves in conflict during Survivor Series week.

We turn back now to Bounty Hunter. This time you must decide the opponent for montyrebel. The available names left on your team are lycan238 and Cheese Wagstaff.

I had a feeling this would happen.

We can put aside our differences after next week again and focus on our main goal (presuming we get through!) of winning the Tag Championship!

The deadline has closed and so here are this week's most popular choices...

    Popular trends - G.W. 13

Most popular Main Event Tier picks

    1. Asuka 12

    2. Roman Reigns 7

    3. Baron Corbin / Seth Rollins 6

    Most popular Upper Tier picks

    1. Dean Ambrose 13

    2. Jey Uso 8

    3. Kane 7

    Most popular Lower Tier picks

    1. Enzo Amore 14

    2. Others 1

In the Main Event Tier, Asuka remains the most popular option but there are new names snapped up this week in the form of Reigns, Corbin and Rollins.

In the Upper Tier, last week's names remain the same for this week but Ambrose has seen a significant growth in ownership.

There's no change in the Lower Tier with Enzo far away the most popular pick.

As for the captaincy, it's a three-way tie for the most popular pick; Charlotte, Asuka and Roman Reigns each have three players backing them.

Good luck for this big week ahead which will see two tag teams eliminated and the tag team semi-finals confirmed. We should also have the Survivor Series Challenge match-ups finalised pretty soon too.

Raw has wrapped up for the week and while there were only five matches on the show, there were plenty of points available. I'll begin the update by revealing the individual scores for last night's show, what they mean for the tag tournament standings, and finally what they mean for our league table. Read on for more...

*Note - Raw spoilers below. Do not read further if you do not want news of Raw.*

    Raw Fallout

It's beakerjoe who again gets the highest score for Raw with an excellent return; wins for his captain Dean Ambrose, plus Enzo Amore, Jason Jordan and Roman Reigns brought home the score.

The second highest score went to paulie21 who also had the captaincy on Dean Ambrose, as well as having wins from Seth Rollins, Reigns and Enzo.

The average score for Raw was 16 points.

Now let's see what it means for the tag tournament standings, and remember the bottom two are eliminated this week...

Tag Team Tournament Standings (Latest Scores)

    5. Team Smackdown (Lord TSC and Ruat Caelum) - 80

    6. O-Kay Guys (KayJay86 and Mr.Nice Guy) - 75

    Tag Team Tournament Fallout

At the moment it's Team Smackdown and the O-Kay Guys that look in the greatest danger of being eliminated but with many players featuring Smackdown talent, and several players having a Smackdown wrestler as captain, the picture could yet change dramatically.

Now let's take a look at what the Raw scores mean for our league table...

    Gameweek 13 Standings (Post-Raw)

    1. Mr. Guappa........................................................................381 points

    2. beakerjoe..........................................................................366 points

    15. Lithium_93.......................................................................183 points

    16. Ruat Caelum.....................................................................182 points

    17. LeeJM..............................................................................137 points

    Fantasy League Fallout

It's Mr. Guappa that remains the man to catch at the top of the table but beakerjoe's impressive Raw score sees him cut the lead to fifteen points.

The only climber following Raw is Lithium_93 who edges ahead of Ruat Caelum on the back of a strong Raw performance.

    Raw results

Bayley defeated Mickie James and Dana Brooke.

Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak defeated Kalisto and Akira Tozawa.

    Jason Jordan defeated Bray Wyatt.

The Shield defeated The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro.

Finn Balor and Samoa Joe defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

    255px-Bayley_May_2017.jpg

Surprisingly Bayley has picked up back-to-back Raw wins. Now that she is on the Raw women's team for Survivor Series are you tempted to bring her in?

    Want to join in?

The game may be under way but new players are always welcome. Places for the cup tournaments are now closed but the league is still open; sign up now to get involved.

That concludes the Raw update. On to Smackdown to finish off the week as we discover which tag teams advance to the semi-final stage.

    Survivor Series Challenge

We've almost got the match-ups sorted out.

We turn back now to Bounty Hunter. This time you must decide the opponent for montyrebel. The only available names left for you to choose from your team are lycan238 and Cheese Wagstaff.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 22,746 Mod ✭✭✭✭Bounty Hunter

His tag partner is not available anymore so instead I have gone with eenie meenie minne mo and as a result it's Cheese Wagstaff that will be taking on Monty.

sure thing for a win Asuka let a few down who had her captained this week by not having her own match.

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,594 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

We have our penultimate tie decided as montyrebel will go up against the 2015 Fantasy League Champion, Cheese Wagstaff.

Since there are only two names remaining, we also now have our final tie sorted and that will see lycan238 taking on Ruat Caelum. While lycan238 had a good start to this week and Ruat had a tough one, who knows what next week will be like.

So now we have our complete Survivor Series Challenge line-up and it looks like so:

    250px-WWESSLOGO2014.png

The Big Red Machines vs The Rated R Superstars

Bounty Hunter (captain) vs Mr. Guappa (captain)

    Kankan14 vs beakerjoe

    Gaw_ vs paulie21

    Lord TSC vs Lithium_93

    KayJay86 vs Mr.Nice Guy

    Necrominus vs daithi1989

    Cheese Wagstaff vs montyrebel

    lycan238 vs Ruat Caelum

The Survivor Series Challenge will officially commence on Gameweek #14, with the winning team earning a prize of an extra transfer for the following week (Gameweek 15).

Thanks to Bounty Hunter and Mr. Guappa for their help in arranging the ties. We've some great clashes on the way, including many with former tag partners now facing one another. It should hopefully make the week of Survivor Series more fun.

    May the best team win.

Smackdown is complete and that means we reach the end of gameweek thirteen. I'll begin this update by revealing the scores for last night's show, what they mean for the final tag tournament standings as we discover which teams made the semi-finals and which two go out, as well the current league table at the end of the week.

I'll also preview the big week ahead which will include the Survivor Series Challenge, a PPV Bonus, not to mention the Fantasy Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg. A lot to get through so let's waste no more time...

    Smackdown Fallout

The highest score for Smackdown goes to Lord TSC who managed a very good return considering this show didn't have many matches. Wins for his captain Charlotte and Baron Corbin brought home his score.

The second highest score went to Bounty Hunter thanks to wins from Jimmy Uso and Baron Corbin. Interestingly while eight players have Jey Uso, BH is the only one with Jimmy.

The average score for Smackdown was 4 points.

Now let's see what the scores mean for the final tag team tournament standings...

    Tag Team Tournament Standings (Results)

    260px-WWE_SmackDown_Tag_Titles.jpeg

    1. -1989 (Necrominus and daithi1989) - 113

    2. GBH (Mr. Guappa and Bounty Hunter) - 110

    3. JoeMonty (beakerjoe and montyrebel) - 109

    4. paulie21 and Gaw_ - 99

    5. Team Smackdown (Lord TSC and Ruat Caelum) - 93

    6. O-Kay Guys (KayJay86 and Mr.Nice Guy) - 82

    Tag Team Tournament Fallout

It is Team Smackdown and the O-Kay Guys who fall victim to the double elimination. In truth, myself and KayKay86 never looked likely to survive but Lord TSC's strong Smackdown score gave his team a fighting chance. They were only six points behind paulie21 and Gaw_ in the end which is not a whole lot, but it's paulie and Gaw_ who manage to advance.

Well done to -1989 on topping the ladder and as noted previously, the team that finished top would play the team that finished fourth in one semi-final; the 2nd and 3rd placed teams would meet in the other tie. That gives us a semi-final line-up like so:

    Semi-Final 1

    -1989 (Necrominus and daithi1989)

    vs

    paulie21 and Gaw_

    Semi-Final 2

GBH (Mr. Guappa and Bounty Hunter)

    vs

    JoeMonty (beakerjoe and montyrebel)

The tag team semi-finals, unlike the Fantasy Cup semi-finals, will be one-off matches and will take place in a fortnight on Gameweek #15.

In the event of a draw, the points from captaincy choices over the match will determine who advances.

In the event this fails to settle it, then a special replay will take place the following week.

    Good luck to each team.

Now let us see the league standings at the end of the week...

    Gameweek 13 Standings

    1. Mr. Guappa........................................................................389 points

    2. beakerjoe..........................................................................370 points

    3. Gaw_................................................................................349 points

    4. Bounty Hunter....................................................................342 points

    5. daithi1989.........................................................................337 points

    = Mr. Nice Guy.......................................................................337 points

    6. paulie21............................................................................326 points

    7. Lord TSC............................................................................323 points

    8. Cheese Wagstaff.................................................................322 points

    9. Kankan14..........................................................................301 points

    10. Necrominus......................................................................291 points

    11. lycan238..........................................................................247 points

    12. KayJay86.........................................................................227 points

    13. montyrebel.......................................................................206 points

    14. Lithium_93.......................................................................184 points

    15. Ruat Caelum.....................................................................183 points

    16. LeeJM..............................................................................137 points

    Fantasy League Fallout

Hats off to Mr. Guappa who manages to see out another week on top, with a lead of nineteen points over nearest rival beakerjoe.

As for climbers, both Bounty Hunter and Lord TSC have managed to rise a place following impressive Smackdown scores.

    Smackdown results

    Baron Corbin defeated Sin Cara.

Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya to win the Smackdown Women's Title.

    Jimmy Uso defeated Chad Gable.

Big E and Xavier Woods vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens ended in a No-Contest
    .
    255px-Charlotte_as_Divas_Champion_WrestleMania_32.jpg

Charlotte produced a big win and will now face Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series. Will this see interest in her grow?

In other news, Baron Corbin justified the spate of transfers for him this week.

On to Gameweek #14 (Cup and PPV Week + Survivor Series Challenge) ...

    Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals - 2nd Leg

    330px-1928_Sam_Maguire_cup%2C_GAA_museum.jpg

    Kankan14 11 - 20 Mr. Guappa

    Bounty Hunter 14 - 8 Cheese Wagstaff

We started out with sixteen players but by the end of this week we will be left with just two remaining. Which players will reach the Fantasy Cup Final?

    250px-WWESSLOGO2014.png

The Big Red Machines vs The Rated R Superstars

Bounty Hunter (captain) vs Mr. Guappa (captain)

    Kankan14 vs beakerjoe

    Gaw_ vs paulie21

    Lord TSC vs Lithium_93

    KayJay86 vs Mr.Nice Guy

    Necrominus vs daithi1989

    Cheese Wagstaff vs montyrebel

    lycan238 vs Ruat Caelum

Well it's finally time for the Survivor Series Challenge. League rivals, current and former tag partners will collide as The Big Red Machines and The Rated R Superstars slug it out for the prize of an extra transfer next week.

Which team will be victorious at the end of this week's three shows?

    *****Survivor Series Note*****

Before I get to the Survivor Series Bonus below, I want to clarify something that has come up in recent years about Survivor Series.

As far as the elimination matches go at Survivor Series, all of the wrestlers on the winning team will get points for the win - and that includes wrestlers who happen to get eliminated during the match.

e.g. if Team Smackdown wins the men's match but during the match Randy Orton winds up eliminated, players with Orton will still secure points for a win providing his team is victorious.

    Hope that's clear.

    *****Survivor Series Bonus Pts*****

    f8accb931b7b7773bac3a8c0d4cf5c75_crop_north.jpg?w=477&h=318&q=75

    PPV Bonus time.

There are currently seven interbrand Raw vs Smackdown matches scheduled for Survivor Series. They are the following matches:
    • The Miz vs Baron Corbin
    • Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair
    • Cesaro and Sheamus vs The Usos
    • The Shield vs The New Day
    • Raw vs Smackdown Women's 5-on-5 Match
    • Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles
    • Raw vs Smackdown Men's 5-on-5 Match

What I want players to do is to simply predict how many matches Raw and Smackdown will win.

Note - to make it a little easier, I am not asking you to specify the results of the matches. You just have to predict the number of wins for each brand...

    e.g. Raw wins 3; Smackdown wins 4

    or

Raw wins 5; Smackdown wins 2

Whatever you happen to believe the outcome will be. (Remember it's just the Raw vs Smackdown matches we are interested in here, so Enzo vs Kalisto isn't taken into account for the bonus)

If you succesfully predict the outcome then you will secure a bonus of 6 points.

You won't lose any points for taking on the bonus so it's worth your while going for it.

So your submission for this week should look a bit like this:

    MAIN EVENT TIER - X
    MAIN EVENT TIER - X
    MAIN EVENT TIER - X

    UPPER TIER - X
    UPPER TIER - X
    UPPER TIER - X

    LOWER TIER - X

    Your captain: X

    Survivor Series Bonus:

    Raw will win _______ matches.

    Smackdown will win ______ matches.

Remember that you don't need to explain how you think the match results will go. Just simply how many wins you see each show having.

What I think is good about this bonus is it means you will be invested in all of the inter-promotional matches in some way.

    Deadline

As it's a PPV week the deadline this time will be before the first pre-show match of Survivor Series on Sunday, November 19th.

    Transfers and Captaincy

You can now make up to 2 transfers to your squad if you wish. These must be from the same tier. For example, a Main Event Tier performer for a Main Event Tier performer; an Upper Tier performer for an Upper Tier performer.

Please outline who you are transferring out and transferring in when posting your squads to make it easier for me to follow.

Once a team has been posted that team will be final and no edits will be allowed (unless there are exceptional circumstance, i.e. a wrestler gets legit hurt, or they are suspended).

Don't forget to choose a captain who will score you double points.

    Want to join in?

The game may be under way but new players are always welcome. Places for the cup tournaments are now closed but the league is still open; sign up now to get involved.

That concludes this long update. Good luck for the week ahead which should be one of the most fun of the game so far. There's a lot on the line this week so choose your decisions well.

Gameweek #14 is now open for business.

I reckon Corbin is winning but im trading him out, I reckon Charlotte is winning but shes not the replacement, I'd give Reigns more chance at 2 wins this game week so he gets the nod while Sheamo / Uso on the same team isn't ideal I'd say whoever wins Sunday will get a win back on their Raw/SD show.

Pre-show has already started as Matt Hardy takes on Elias so the deadline for submissions is now closed.

Anyone who missed the deadline may still submit a bonus attempt provided it's in before 1 am.

As we enter the final month of the game here are the trends for this big PPV week ahead...

    Popular trends - G.W. 14

Most popular Main Event Tier picks

    1. Roman Reigns 13

    2. Asuka 11

    3. Seth Rollins 8

    Most popular Upper Tier picks

    2. Jey Uso 11

    3. The Miz 6

In the Main Event Tier, Roman Reigns topples Asuka as the most popular pick with confidence in The Shield very high.

In the Upper Tier, interest in Dean Ambrose rises slightly and he becomes the joint-most popular player in the game alongside Enzo.

In the Lower Tier, Enzo remains a strong favourite ahead of his match with Kalisto.

As regards the captaincy choices, seven players reckon Dean Ambrose is the man to back this week; Reigns is the second most popular choice with four players pinning their hopes on him.

Finally when it comes to the bonus submissions at the time of writing, out of the thirteen bonus predictions, ten players reckon Raw will win 4 matches and Smackdown 3 of them; meanwhile three players reckon Smackdown will win 4 matches and Raw 3 of them.

This is a significant week ahead. The Fantasy Cup Final will be determined, the winning Survivor Series Challenge team will be revealed, and we will discover how our league table shapes up after three shows.

Here is a brief rundown of the schedule in store for the final weeks of the game:

Survivor Series is over and that means we are 1/3 of the way through this gameweek. This was a big week which included a bonus for any player that could predict the number of wins for Raw and Smackdown on the PPV. I'll begin this update by revealing the latest scores from the Survivor Series Challenge, what they mean for the Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals, and finally the latest league table. Read on for more...

*Warning - Survivor Series spoilers below. Do not read further if you do not want news of the PPV.*

    Survivor Series Fallout

It's been an exciting opening to the Survivor Series Challenge with both team captains level pegging. Last year's tag partners Kankan14 and beakerjoe have also matched each other. In the other ties, however, The Big Red Machines have taken the early advantage and the score stands at 4-2 in favour of Bounty Hunter's men. Many of the ties remain close though and a lot can change between now and Wednesday.

Ten of the thirteen players that made an attempt at the bonus correctly predicted that Raw would win 4 matches and Smackdown 3. Those players secured a bonus 6 points and they have been added to the scores above.

As regards the overall scores, as you can see it is Lord TSC who managed the best result last night and he even completed the rare clean sweep: every single member of his line-up picked up wins, plus he also got the bonus right.

paulie21 managed the second highest score and only a Miz loss denied him a clean sweep. Gaw_ did manage a clean sweep of wins from his team, but he got the bonus prediction incorrect.

LeeJM, whose score is not listed above, got 19 points last night.

Overall, the average score for Survivor Series was 33 points.

Now let's see what the scores last night mean for the 2nd leg of the Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals...

    Bounty Hunter 54 - 46 Cheese Wagstaff

    Fantasy Cup Fallout

Mr. Guappa and Bounty Hunter have managed to edge a little further in front in their respective ties following Survivor Series.

Neither man will need me to tell them that those leads can be clawed back and that it's still all to play for going into the final two shows.

Finally let's see what the scores mean for our league table...

    Fantasy League Fallout

Well done to league leader Mr. Guappa who not only came through Survivor Series with his lead intact but even managed to extend it slightly to a lead that now stands at twenty-one points.

There's not much movement elsewhere other than Lord TSC, on the back of his excellent PPV score, joining paulie21 in seventh place.

    Survivor Series results

    Elias defeated Matt Hardy.

    Enzo Amore defeated Kalisto.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated Breezango.

The Shield defeated The New Day.

Team Raw (Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Asuka and Nia Jax) defeated Team Smackdown (Becky Lynch, Naomi, Carmella, Natalya and Tamina).

    Baron Corbin defeated The Miz.

The Usos defeated Cesaro and Sheamus.

    Charlotte Flair defeated Alexa Bliss.

    Brock Lesnar defeated AJ Styles.

Team Raw (Triple H, Braun Strowman, Kurt Angle, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe) defeated Team Smackdown (Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena).

There weren't too many surprises when it came to the results but Corbin winning is perhaps one of them. The US champ looks to have some momentum once more.
