You've still time to turn it around. The Survivor Series Challenge will run for the week. Ten points is a good lead for Lord TSC, but Raw and Smackdown should have a lot points there to play for so who knows what might happen.

A newsworthy episode of Raw has concluded and that means we are almost at the end of this big gameweek. I'll begin this update by revealing the scores from last night's show, what they mean for the Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals and the Survivor Series Challenge, and finally our current league table. Read on for more...

*Note - Raw spoilers below. Do not read further if you do not want news of Raw.*

    Monday Night Raw scores

    Mr. Guappa.................................23 pts
    Bounty Hunter.............................19 pts
    daithi1989..................................19 pts
    LeeJM........................................19 pts
    Necrominus................................19 pts

    paulie21.....................................14 pts
    KayJay86....................................12 pts
    montyrebel.................................12 pts
    Ruat Caelum.................................5 pts

    Raw Fallout

It's Mr. Guappa that gets the best score for Raw with a terrific return of 23 points; all of his Main Event Tier options won (Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns and Asuka) as did his captain Dean Ambrose, with Miz providing an appearance point.

Four players are tied with the second best score with one of them being LeeJM who was the only player to score points via his Lower Tier option (Akira Tozawa).

The average score for Raw was 16 points.

Now let's see what effect the scores have had on the Fantasy Cup ties...

Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals - 2nd Leg (Latest Scores)

    330px-1928_Sam_Maguire_cup%2C_GAA_museum.jpg

    Kankan14 66 - 83 Mr. Guappa

    Bounty Hunter 73 - 63 Cheese Wagstaff

    Fantasy Cup Fallout

While there is still a show to come, it looks like we have found our Fantasy Cup finalists.

In the first tie, while Kankan14 achieved a good Raw score, Mr. Guappa notched up one that no player could live with, and his lead now stands at seventeen points. Mr. Guappa has one potential wrestler to come (Jey Uso) while Kankan14 has three (Jey Uso, Charlotte and Shelton Benjamin). It appears therefore the margin is too great now to be clawed back unless there is some very unusual booking on Smackdown.

In the second tie, Bounty Hunter has a lead now of ten points over Cheese Wagstaff with both players having one wrestler left (BH has Jimmy Uso, Cheese has his brother Jey Uso). Unless Jey Uso does double duty and wins both times, this tie looks to be settled.

Smackdown will confirm for us the official result.

Here now are what the Raw scores mean for the Survivor Series Challenge...

    330px-WWESSLOGO2014.png

The Big Red Machines vs The Rated R Superstars

Bounty Hunter (captain) 59 - 63 Mr. Guappa (captain)

    Kankan14 55 - 52 beakerjoe

    Gaw_ 56 - 55 paulie21

    Lord TSC 58 - 51 Lithium_93

    KayJay86 41 - 48 Mr.Nice Guy

    Necrominus 59 - 56 daithi1989

    Cheese Wagstaff 55 - 31 montyrebel

    lycan238 45 - 17 Ruat Caelum

    Survivor Series Fallout

Even though Bounty Hunter is slightly behind Mr. Guappa in the captaincy clash, it's been a great night for Bounty Hunter's Big Red Machines Team as they have raced into a 6-2 lead.

I've been looking over the remaining players on each team and by my calculations the best hope for the Rated R Superstars is to hope to claw it back to 4-4. As previously noted, if it ends all square then we add up the combined combined overall points of each team and the team with the highest score wins.

That would admittedly be a long shot. You'd have to say it's Bounty Hunter's team that have the clear advantage going into the final show. We will soon discover which 8 players have earned the prize of an extra transfer next week.

Finally let's take a look at our league table...

    Gameweek 14 Standings (Post-Raw)

    1. Mr. Guappa........................................................................452 points

    2. beakerjoe..........................................................................422 points

    3. Gaw_................................................................................405 points

    4. Bounty Hunter....................................................................401 points

    5. daithi1989.........................................................................393 points

    6. Mr. Nice Guy.......................................................................385 points

    7. Lord TSC............................................................................381 points

    = paulie21.............................................................................381 points

    8. Cheese Wagstaff.................................................................377 points

    9. Kankan14..........................................................................356 points

    10. Necrominus......................................................................350 points

    11. lycan238..........................................................................292 points

    12. KayJay86.........................................................................268 points

    13. montyrebel.......................................................................237 points

    14. Lithium_93.......................................................................235 points

    15. Ruat Caelum.....................................................................200 points

    16. LeeJM..............................................................................175 points

    Fantasy League Fallout

There's no positional changes since Survivor Series but the big news concerns our league leader Mr. Guappa who, on the back of his great Raw score, now pushes his lead out to thirty points. With only a few weeks remaining his rivals will be hoping he stumbles and make mistakes, but at the moment he looks in excellent form.

    Raw results

    Samoa Joe defeated Finn Balor.

    Asuka defeated Dana Brooke.

    Dean Ambrose defeated Sheamus.

Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Alicia Fox vs Mickie James ended in a No-Contest.

Braun Strowman defeated Jason Jordan via D.Q.

Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa and Rich Swann defeated Tony Nese, Noam Dar, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari.

Roman Reigns defeated The Mizto win the Intercontintental Championship.
    330px-Paige_%28wrestler%29_at_WrestleMania_32_Axxess.jpg

Paige returned last night with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville by her side. I'm not sure if Rose and Deville will be wrestling just yet so I'll hold off on adding them to our roster for the time being. Paige, however, is already available as an Upper Tier option if anyone is interested in adding her.

That concludes the Raw update. On we turn to Smackdown to finish off the gameweek...

I'll have the Smackdown update up later on this evening but there's one match result that is proving an issue:
The finish of Natalya vs Charlotte.

Natalya gets attacked by the NXT women and the ref calls for the bell which you'd think would be a DQ, but there is no mention of a DQ result on WWE.com. The Figure Four website says it was a No-Contest but then in the review itself says it was "a DQ or No Contest". I've seen a report in The Mirror saying it was a DQ win by Natalya.

I might have to make a judgement call on this but I'm leaning towards it being a No-Contest because I saw Natalya getting interviewed after the match and she makes no mention of having a DQ victory.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 22,746 Mod ✭✭✭✭Bounty Hunter

even in storyline i'd probably go no contest. The bell was rung but no announcement made, by the time any announcement was made Charlotte was also attacked so you think they would not make their decision against her at that stage unlike the usual storyline DQ where the person attacked is instantly announced as the winner by DQ. That said I don't have points on the line so whichever way is cool ha

I read the results on Bleacher Report and they called it a No Contest

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,740 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

I also checked out the results on Bleacher Report. Reading the story of how the match unfolded I expected that Natalya would be announced as winner by DQ, but if WWE are going with No Contest, then I'd lean that way. Tricky one though, the correct result of the match should probably be Nattie by DQ, but...

    Smackdown Fallout

It's Kankan14 that gets the best score from Smackdown thanks to a win from Shelton Benjamin, plus appearance points from Charlotte and Jey Uso.

The second highest score went to Ruat Caelum who also had Shelton Benjamin in his line-up, plus an appearance point from Big E.

This was a low-scoring show overall with an average of just 2 points.

Now let's see the final result of our Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals...

    Fantasy Cup Semi-Finals - 2nd Leg (Result)

    Kankan14 73 - 84 Mr. Guappa

    Bounty Hunter 73 - 64 Cheese Wagstaff

    Fantasy Cup Fallout

Congratulations to our Fantasy Cup finalists, Mr. Guappa and Bounty Hunter. Those two have had quite a rivalry in this year's game: tag team partners, rival captains in the Survivor Series Challenge, and now they will face off in the Fantasy Cup Final. It should be a great final.

The losing semi-finalists gave a good account of themselves. Kankan14 managed to gain some ground in his tie due to his strong Smackdown score but Mr. Guappa was too good this week. And Cheese Wagstaff lost by less than ten points. But the margin following Raw was too big to overcome for both.

PW Boards Fantasy Cup Final 2017

    Mr. Guappa vs Bounty Hunter

The Fantasy Cup Final will take place in a fortnight on Gameweek #16.

The final will be held over one gameweek. If we are tied at the end of the week, then the player with the most points from their captaincy choice will get the victory. If that fails to settle it, a special replay will take place the following week.

    Good luck to both players.

And now for the official result of the Survivor Series Challenge...

    330px-WWESSLOGO2014.png

The Big Red Machines vs The Rated R Superstars

Bounty Hunter (captain) 59 - 64 Mr. Guappa (captain)

It is Mr. Guappa that gets the win for his team in the clash of the captains. No doubt Bounty Hunter will want revenge for this in the Fantasy Cup Final. 1-0 to The Rated R Superstars.

    Kankan14 62 - 53 beakerjoe

These two were tag partners last year. While things were close heading into the finale, Kankan14 unleashes a late flurry of offence on beakerjoe that takes down his former ally. 1-1 now.

    Gaw_ 57 - 56 paulie21

These two are current tag team partners and have matched each other every step of the way. In the final seconds Gaw_ lands a super kick and collapses on his partner getting the win for his team in the match of the night. 2-1 to The Big Red Machines now.

    Lord TSC 60 - 52 Lithium_93

After a strong start for Lord TSC, Lithium_93 comes back into the contest late on. But Lord TSC is in no mood to lose his lead and hits his finisher to make it 3-1.

    KayJay86 45 - 50 Mr.Nice Guy

In another battle of tag partners, KayJay86 comes back into it late on but it's yours truly that brings out the brass knucks, clocking my former ally. We needed the win here. It had to be done! 3-2 now to The Big Red Machines.

    Necrominus 61 - 57 daithi1989

In a battle of the tag partners that finished the tag team standings on top, after a great contest it is Necrominus that scores the backslide on daithi1989 and makes it 4-2 to The Big Red Machines. Fans of The Rated R Superstars have their head in their hands as they know the event is slipping away.

    Cheese Wagstaff 56 - 32 montyrebel

It is Cheese Wagstaff that puts the contest beyond doubt with a strong showing against montyrebel. Fans of The Big Red Machines celebrate as red pyro goes off. 5-2 now.

    lycan238 46 - 23 Ruat Caelum

Despite the result being confirmed, Ruat Caelum ignores team advice and charges bravely into battle. We fight for pride on The Rated R Superstars. Unfortunately, lycan238 is in no mood to have his celebration cut short and despite a late flurry by Ruat Caelum, he ends things with a big powerbomb. Jim Ross desperately calls for EMTs.

    Result

The Big Red Machines 6 - 2 The Rated R Superstars

Red pyro goes off as The Big Red Machines celebrate their win.

Mr. Guappa and Bounty Hunter have a staredown as the show goes off the air, with fans wondering whether their tag partnership can survive next week in the Tag Tournament semi-finals.

So then the following eight players have won the prize of an extra third transfer to be used this upcoming week (Gameweek 15). They are: Bounty Hunter, Kankan14, Gaw_, Lord TSC, KayJay86, Necrominus, Cheese Wagstaff and lycan238.

Congratulations to the above players. The rest of us will have to make do with the usual two transfers.

Note to the 8 winning players - Using 3 transfers is optional. You don't have to use them if you are happy with your line-up.

Be aware though that you only get to use 3 transfers this upcoming week (Gameeek 15) - if you don't use them they will NOT carry over so keep that in mind.

Finally, a look at the league table at the end of the week...

    Gameweek 14 Standings

    1. Mr. Guappa........................................................................453 points

    2. beakerjoe..........................................................................423 points

    3. Gaw_................................................................................406 points

    15. Lithium_93.......................................................................236 points

    16. Ruat Caelum.....................................................................206 points

    17. LeeJM..............................................................................176 points

    Fantasy League Fallout

Well done to Mr. Guappa who caps off a strong week by maintaining his lead of thirty points over nearest rival beakerjoe. With a month to go will our league leader hang on to top spot?

In other news, Lord TSC edges ahead of paulie21 to make seventh spot his own.

    Smackdown results

    Shelton Benjamin defeated Jey Uso.

The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The Hype Bros.

Charlotte vs Natalya ended in a No-Contest.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated Big E and Kofi
    .
    330px-Luke_Harper_and_Eric_Rowan.jpg

Harper and Rowan had an impressive return as The Bludgeon Brothers. Both are available as Upper Tier options. Are you tempted to transfer one in?

As noted earlier, there was uncertainty over the Charlotte vs Natalya outcome. I didn't feel there was enough evidence to deem it a DQ win for Natalya so I felt the No-Contest was the safer decision.

As regards the debuting women on Smackdown, I'll wait a week to see if they're having matches yet before adding them. I've a feeling they may not wrestle until the next PPV.

On to Gameweek #15 (Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals)...

Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals (one-off ties)

    Semi-Final 1

    -1989 (Necrominus and daithi1989)

    paulie21 and Gaw_

    Semi-Final 2

GBH (Mr. Guappa and Bounty Hunter)

    vs

    JoeMonty (beakerjoe and montyrebel)

It's time now for the four tag teams that qualified for the semi-finals to battle it out for a place in the final.

Unlike the Fantasy Cup semi-finals, these ties will be one-off matches and will be decided by the end of this gameweek.

In the event of a draw, the highest points earned from captaincy choices over the match will determine who advances.

In the event this fails to settle it, then a special replay will take place the following week.

    Good luck to the teams.

    Deadline

The deadline will be before the start of Monday Night Raw.

    Transfers and Captaincy

You can now make up to 2 transfers to your squad if you wish (or 3 if you are one of the eight players successful in the Survivor Series Challenge). These must be from the same tier. For example, a Main Event Tier performer for a Main Event Tier performer; an Upper Tier performer for an Upper Tier performer.

Please outline who you are transferring out and transferring in when posting your squads to make it easier for me to follow.

Once a team has been posted that team will be final and no edits will be allowed (unless there are exceptional circumstance, i.e. a wrestler gets legit hurt, or they are suspended).

Don't forget to choose a captain who will score you double points.

    Want to join in?

The game may be under way but new players are always welcome. Places for the cup tournaments are now closed but the league is still open; sign up now to get involved.

That concludes the update. We have less than ten shows in total between now and the end of the game so it's crucial to get those points on the board. Good luck to all players. Gameweek #15 is now open for business.

In the Main Event Tier, Roman Reigns remains the most picked option while AJ Styles sees a big growth in ownership ahead of a match with the Singh brothers this week.

In the Upper Tier, Dean Ambrose continues to lead the way among available options as Luke Harper becomes a popular target following an impressive showing from The Bludgeon Brothers last week. (Rowan interestingly only makes 3 squads).

In the Lower Tier, Enzo not only remains the most popular overall pick but has also gained a new owner meaning he now appears in all but two line-ups.

As far as the captaincy calls go, Roman Reigns is the one with the most supporters with 6 players hopeful he will pick up a win. The joint-second most popular choices are Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper, with 3 players each backing them to have victories.

We should know by the end of this week which two tag teams have advanced to reach the tag tournament final. As for our league table, only a few weeks remain so it's time to make those scores count. Good luck to all players.

    Raw Fallout

It's montyrebel that gets the highest score for Raw this week with an excellent return of 23 points, almost double that of the second-highest score. All of his Main Event Tier options picked up wins (Samoa Joe, Asuka and his captain Roman Reigns), while he also picked up 6 points from Kane who did double duty on the show, with Cesaro adding an appearance point.

As you can see, five players shared the next highest score. The average for Raw was 9 points.

Now let's see how the tag team tournament semi-final shapes up before the final show, Smackdown...

    Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals (Latest)

    Semi-Final 1

    -1989 (Necrominus and daithi1989) - 16

    vs

    paulie21 and Gaw_ - 20

    Semi-Final 2

    vs

JoeMonty (beakerjoe and montyrebel) - 35

    Tag Team Tournament Fallout

In the first semi-final it's the team that topped the tag team ladder, -1989, that find themselves in trouble as they trail the duo of paulie21 and Gaw_. But there's plenty of points to play for tonight - which team will advance?

In the second semi-final, it's been a very dramatic start as montyrebel's hefty score comes at a great time for him and his partner beakerjoe, but at the worst possible time for Bounty Hunter and Mr. Guappa. There's several names still to come on Smackdown but it will be a big ask to claw back that margin of fifteen points.

Tonight's Smackdown should be extra exciting as we see how the remaining ties play out.

Finally, let's see how our league table looks following Raw...

    Gameweek 15 Standings (Post-Raw)

    1. Mr. Guappa........................................................................465 points

    2. beakerjoe..........................................................................435 points

    3. Gaw_................................................................................414 points

    4. Bounty Hunter....................................................................409 points

    5. daithi1989.........................................................................402 points

    6. paulie21............................................................................394 points

    7. Mr. Nice Guy.......................................................................391 points

    8. Lord TSC............................................................................387 points

    9. Cheese Wagstaff.................................................................386 points

    16. Ruat Caelum.....................................................................211 points

    17. LeeJM..............................................................................185 points

    Fantasy League Fallout

Mr. Guappa continues to lead the way at the top, with his impressive lead of thirty points unchanged.

As far as climbers go paulie21 is the only mover, and rises two places to take sixth spot.

In the bottom four, montyrebel's big points haul moves him closer to KayJay86 in the battle to avoid Deletion.

    Raw results

    Seth Rollins defeated Cesaro.

    Samoa Joe defeated Titus O'Neil.

    Bray Wyatt defeated Matt Hardy.

Rich Swann defeated Akira Tozawa, Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari.

    Roman Reigns defeated Elias.

    Asuka defeated Dana Brooke.

Kane defeated Jason Jordan via count-out.

Finn Balor defeated Kane via D.Q.
    330px-Kane_WrestleMania_32_Axxess.jpg

Kane was the one to have this week as he pulled off the rare feat of having two matches on the one show; montyrebel was the only player to keep faith with him. Dean Ambrose's honeymoon scuppered a lot of player's plans, while Paige's match didn't take place and will be a blow to the five players who transferred her in this week.
