No Mercy has concluded which means we are a 1/3 of the way through the gameweek. This week is a bigger one than usual with a PPV bonus on offer, as well as the final Cup ties in the groups to be decided. And while last week was a quiet week with regards points, as you will see below, this week it's been a very different story.

I will begin the update by revealing the scores for last night's show, then what they mean for the Cup ties, and lastly how the scores have affected our league table. Read on for the latest...

*Warning - No Mercy spoilers lie below. Do not read further if you do not want the results from the show.*

    No Mercy Fallout

There was a bonus this week of an extra 5 points if players decided to risk predicting the outcome of the main event, although an unsuccessful prediction would cost 5 points. Nine of the eleven players that went for the bonus correctly predicted Brock Lesnar to leave with the title. These additions (or subtractions) have been taken into account above.

The highest score for No Mercy went to daithi1989 with a fantastic score of 43 points; daithi completed the clean sweep this week as every single member of his line-up picked up wins, plus his bonus prediction was also correct. (Well done to Kankan14 who also completed the clean sweep this week, though he elected not to go for the bonus.)

beakerjoe and Mr. Guappa got the second highest scores for the show with Jason Jordan being the only guy to let down their respective teams.

The average score for No Mercy this week was a hefty 27 points.

Now let us see what the above means for the latest scores in the Cup games...

    PW Fantasy Cup (Latest Scores)

    Group A

    paulie21 27 - 35 Necrominus
    Lithium_93 26 - 33 Bounty Hunter

    Group B

    Lord TSC 21 - 39 beakerjoe

    Group C

    montyrebel 9 - 2 LeeJM
    Kankan14 38 - 36 Gaw_

    Group D

    Ruat Caelum 6 - 30 lycan238
    daithi1989 43 - 19 KayJay86

For a reminder of how the groups look at present, see here.

There's a lot of very interesting scores above, with many too close to call. Group B looks particularly exciting at the minute while in Group A, the reigning Cup Champ paulie21 is fighting to stay in the tournament and needs to defeat Necrominus who has an early lead.

Also worth remembering that the draw for the quarter-finals will be seeded with the four group winners being the top seeds, so there is plenty to play for in that respect too.

Finally, let us see what the PPV scores mean for our current league standings...

    Gameweek 7 Standings (Post-PPV)

    League Fallout

It is the champion daithi1989 who continues to lead the way, and his excellent PPV score increases his lead at the top to 8 points. Well done to him.

Mr. Guappa meanwhile has managed to retake second spot.

One eye-catching mover is beakerjoe who leaps several places up to fifth following his strong PPV score. Lithium_93 has also gone from second-last to now being in with a good chance of moving out of the bottom four.

    No Mercy results

    Elias defeated Apollo Crews.

    The Miz defeated Jason Jordan.

    Finn Balor defeated Bray Wyatt.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeated Cesaro and Sheamus.

Alexa Bliss defeated Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax and Emma.

    Roman Reigns defeated John Cena.

    Enzo Amore defeated Neville.

    Brock Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman.

Raw has finished and that means we are 2/3 of the way through our gameweek. It is worth noting that many players loaded up on Raw personnel this week - with some having only Raw wrestlers - so for those players last night marked their last chance to score points for the week.

Below you will find how you scored for Raw, what the scores mean for the Cup ties (with some already decided), and lastly the current league standings. Read on for the latest...

*Note - Raw spoilers below. Do not read further if you do not want news of Raw.*

    Raw Fallout

The top score for Raw this week goes to Bounty Hunter with a very impressive return; wins for his captain Seth Rollins, plus Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Elias and Jason Jordan were responsible.

The second highest score went to beakerjoe, who achieved a fine haul courtesy of wins from Reigns, Balor, Rollins, Elias and Jordan, with losing captain Dean Ambrose providing the remainder.

The average score for Raw was 17 points.

Now let us see what these scores mean for the Cup ties...

    PW Fantasy Cup (Latest Scores)

    Group A

    paulie21 44 - 47 Necrominus
    Lithium_93 39 - 59 Bounty Hunter

    Group B

    Mr. Guappa 59 - 57 Cheese Wagstaff
    Lord TSC 44 - 63 beakerjoe

    Group C

    Kankan14 58 - 56 Gaw_

    Group D

    Ruat Caelum 14 - 45 lycan238
    daithi1989 63 - 33 KayJay86

    Cup Fallout

For a reminder of how the groups look at present, see here.

In Group A, Bounty Hunter has no more squad members left to play but his lead is too great to be caught by Lithium_93. That means he will finish the group as top seed with a 100 per cent record. Well done to him.

In the other game, it is set up for a fascinating finale. The winner will take the final spot in the quarter-finals. Necrominus has no wrestlers remaining but paulie21 has one left - AJ Styles. That means a win for AJ Styles should send the reigning Cup champ paulie through, but if Styles loses or doesn't compete tonight then Necrominus will advance. Who will take the last spot?

In Group B, Mr. Guappa has no remaining wrestlers but Cheese Wagstaff has one: Natalya. That means Cheese Wagstaff needs Natalya to win to top the group. It looks to me like the strong scores from both players mean both will make the next round, so this tie is now for securing the top seed spot. Fair play to both men.

In the other tie, both beakerjoe and Lord TSC have no players left meaning beakerjoe has won the tie, ending Lord TSC's qualification hopes. I don't think beakerjoe's excellent score will be quite enough to qualify himself, as Mr. Guappa and Cheese Wagstaff look set to have amassed very high overall scores over the group games as a whole, but a great win nonetheless.

In Group C, Kankan14 and Gaw_ already knew they were qualified so this match was to determine which one would be seeded for the quarter-finals. With both men having no further wrestlers, it is Kankan14 that wins the tie and becomes top seed, keeping his 100 per cent record. Well done to him.

In the other game, which is a battle for pride, both men have a few Smackdown wrestlers to come so this tie is still alive.

In Group D, daithi1989 overwhelmed KayJay86 to ensure he wins the group with a 100 per cent record, becoming Group D's top seed. Congrats to him.

In the other tie, while Ruat Caelum has a few Smackdown wrestlers to come, it looks like the lead of lycan238 is too great and lycan238 should advance.

Based on my observations, it looks like we now know 7 of the 8 quarter-final participants. It's just a case of whether paulie21 or Necrominus will take the last spot. Smackdown will tell us the answer.

Finally, let us see how our league table looks following Raw...

    16. LeeJM................................................................................77 points

    League Fallout

Well done to the reigning champ daithi1989 who continues to lead the way with an 8 point lead over nearest rival Mr. Guappa.

Some eye-catching movement after Raw sees Bounty Hunter and beakerjoe move up to fourth and fifth respectively on the back of their strong scores.

    Raw results

Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.

    Elias defeated Apollo Crews.

    Braun Strowman defeated Dean Ambrose.

    Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus.

    Roman Reigns defeated The Miz.

    Finn Balor defeated Goldust.

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax and Emma.

    330px-Jason_Jordan_2015.jpg

Jordan bounces back from his loss at No Mercy to pick up a win. He also picked up a win on last week's Raw.

In other news it looks like Jeff Hardy is facing a spell out with injury so his owners need to start planning for a replacement.

    Cup Fallout

We knew 7 of the 8 qualifiers for the quarter-finals following the events of Raw, but Group A's final spot was still in the balance. The reigning Cup champ paulie21 needed a win from AJ Styles to secure passage to the next round and keep alive hopes of retaining his title. Alas for paulie it wasn't to be as Styles was kept to commentary duties meaning it is Necrominus who hangs on to take the final spot in the quarter-finals, taking the big scalp of last year's cup winner in the process. Well done to him.

Congratulations to the respective group winners: Bounty Hunter, Mr. Guappa, Kankan14 and daithi1989. All four of them maintained a 100 per cent record and all four will be top seeds for the quarter-final draw.

Those who finished as runner-up in each group take the remaining spots. On that note, Group B is worth a mention. It ended up extremely close in the end with three players tied on a win each. In the end it was Cheese Wagstaff's higher overall score that edged him over the line.

Here then are the official qualifiers for the last eight:

    Top seeds

    Bounty Hunter (Group A winner)
    Mr. Guappa (Group B winner)
    Kankan14 (Group C winner)
    daithi1989 (Group D winner)

    2nd seeds

    Necrominus (Group A runner-up)
    Cheese Wagstaff (Group B runner-up)
    Gaw_ (Group C runner-up)
    lycan238 (Group D runner-up)

    Eliminated

    Lithium_93
    beakerjoe
    Lord TSC
    montyrebel
    LeeJM
    KayJay86
    Ruat Caelum

The quarter-finals will be over two legs and the first game will be in two week's time on Gameweek 9. I will do the draw for the quarter-finals next week when Gameweek 8 ends. Players who met in the group stage will be kept apart for the quarter-finals.

    League Fallout

It's pretty much as we were after Raw as the champion daithi1989 continues to lead the way with a lead of 8 points.

    Smackdown results

Baron Corbin defeated Tye Dillinger via count-out.

The Usos defeated The Hype Bros.

    Charlotte defeated Carmella.

Charlotte picked up her second straight win on Smackdown. She currently appears in no line-ups. Are you tempted to transfer her into your team?

On to Gameweek #8 (The Tag Team Tournament Returns!)...

    PW Fantasy Tag Team Tournament

    260px-WWE_SmackDown_Tag_Titles.jpeg

For many players, this week marked the end of their Cup hopes, but as one door closes another opens as the Tag Team Tournament will kick off in earnest this upcoming week.

Up to now we have competed against one another, but for this particular tournament yourself and a partner will work together to amass as many points as possible. Last year's tournament was won by paulie21 and DM_7.

Here's how it works: every second week beginning in Gameweek 8 you and your tag team partner's score will be added together to give your team's overall score. (for example, if Player A gets 20 pts and Player B gets 15 points, then the team's total score will be 35 points).

The team that scores the lowest combined score will be eliminated. This week we will begin with 8 teams but by the end of the week that will become 7 when the lowest scoring team is eliminated. In Gameweek 10, the 7 teams will become 6. Then in Gameweek 12, things will go all X-Factor as we will have a double elimination to leave us with 4 tag teams. In Gameweek 14 we will have tag team semi-finals (one-off affairs) and if all goes to plan, Gameweek 16 will see the Tag Team Tournament Final.

How will you be assigned a tag team partner? Like last year I'll leave that up to YOU.

I have randomized the top 16 players in our league. I want the first few players who submit their line-ups for the week to pick a number between 1 and 16 and that will be your buddy for the tournament. (If the number you select happens to be your own name then I'll just give the next name down.) It shouldn't take too long before we have the teams sorted, so it's first come, first pick.

(Note - if anyone not currently playing our game wants to join in I will find a way to facilitate you for this tournament. I've included myself in this game as I think it would fairer for people to land players that tend to update their teams regularly, which would likely lead to a better chance of more points for a team.

I want as much participation as possible though so if LeeJM, who is currently set to miss out as the 17th player on the board, wishes to compete in the tournament then I will find a way to faciliate him. As noted above, that also goes for potential new players who want to take part. The best way to declare an interest would be to pick a team and then a number.)

I hope that's straightforward. So the first few players who submit a team it should look like this:

    MAIN EVENT TIER - X
    MAIN EVENT TIER - X
    MAIN EVENT TIER - X

    UPPER TIER - X
    UPPER TIER - X
    UPPER TIER - X

    LOWER TIER - X

    The captain: X

    I pick number __.

I will then reveal who your tag team buddy will be for the week ahead. The league will continue to run as normal.

    Deadline

The deadline for Gameweek 8 will be before the start of Monday Night Raw.

    Transfers and Captaincy

You can now make up to 2 transfers to your squad if you wish. These must be from the same tier. For example, a Main Event Tier performer for a Main Event Tier performer; an Upper Tier performer for an Upper Tier performer.

Please outline who you are transferring out and transferring in when posting your squads to make it easier for me to follow.

Once a team has been posted that team will be final and no edits will be allowed (unless there are exceptional circumstance, i.e. a wrestler gets legit hurt, or they are suspended).

Don't forget to choose a captain who will score you double points.

    Want to join in?

The game may be under way but new players are always welcome. Places for the Cup are now closed but the league is still open and now is the time to sign up for a place in the tag tournament.

Good luck for the week ahead and those of you who submit your teams early don't forget to pick a number between 1 and 16. I will then let you know which partner you have landed.

Gameweek #8 is now open for business.

You've landed a man who has been in better form of late, Lithium_93. Not sure if you both fancy a name - 1493 has a decent ring to it - but for now we have our second team established: Kankan14 and Lithium_93.

You've selected well as you land the player currently second in the league table and who like yourself finished the Cup group stages as a top seed, Mr. Guappa.

If you decide on a tag team name let me know but we have our third team set: Bounty Hunter and Mr. Guappa.

We've 5 teams still to determine. For other players not in teams yet, the remaining numbers left to choose are:
    2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16.

That means we now have our sixth tag team sorted: Lord TSC and Ruat Caelum.

    ...Gaw_!

You've selected well as Gaw_ has been in good form of late and sits third in the table. I'm sure he will be happy to have you also, one half of last year's winning tag team.

So that means we have our seventh tag team: paulie21 and Gaw_.

With only numbers three and six remaining, that means our eighth and final team is...

    .

    .

    .

    .

That was my number and you would have gotten me but paulie has got to you first. We could have been The Nice Gaws. :pac:

So here are the 8 teams for the tag team tournament starting this week:
    Tag Team Tournament Teams

    1. daithi1989 and Necrominus.

    2. Kankan14 and Lithium_93.

    3. Bounty Hunter and Mr. Guappa.

    4. lycan238 and Cheese Wagstaff.

    5. montyrebel and beakerjoe.

    6. Lord TSC and Ruat Caelum.

    7. paulie21 and Gaw_.

    8. Mr.Nice Guy and KayJay86.

If you come up with a tag team name feel free to share it. Nothing's coming to mind for my team at the minute but maybe something good will come to mind, or perhaps KayJay will think of something.

Remember the team that finishes with the least points at the end of this upcoming gameweek will be eliminated. In the event teams are tied for last place, points from captaincy choices will be used to break the deadlock.

Reminder to those players yet to submit teams that you have until the deadline which is the start of Raw. There's no need to pick numbers now as we have all our teams sorted.
