    My Son wants to paint his 26" bike blue. Any idea approximately how much it would cost? The bike a 5 years old.

    Just wonder whether it is better to buy a new bike !

    If its alluminium and just one coat blue strip the bike and off to a local powder coat shop it'll cost less than €100 or pick up some stripper and rattle cans and give it a go yourself it's not very hard to do.

    I could buy a new bike at smyths, for that money. So dropping the paint idea! Thanks for the replies...
