    -98.8 now on fpl stats.

I would like him to hold just for one day to keep my precious 0.1 in the bank:D

I needed at least one but mostly likely two double risers to get the WC team I want.

    I think it's looking unlikely.

I'm sitting on Otamendi, D Silva, Lascelles, GroB and Mkhi that have all risen once so far.

Any price experts think I'll get the two double risers I'll need from that lot before Saturday ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,192 ✭✭✭Colking

    According to ffix:

    Otamendi on 26.8 % rising @ 0.2% ph
    D Silva on 35.7 % rising @ 0.3% ph
    Lascelles on 37.3 % rising @ 0.3% ph
    GroB on 39.5 % rising @ 0.3% ph
    Mkhi on 35.5 % rising @ 0.2% ph

I think your best bet is GroB followed by Silva. Silva could well see a rise when people look at their lack of City cover and decide "I need some/more with those fixtures"

Lascelles might be slower as plenty will have Elliot and/or Mbemba so might make it less likely.

I think most of the Mkhi moves have been made with Pogba/Sane owners (unless very casual players ) already having decided last week.

The thing that isn't helping you is that many took hits last week and might be reluctant to take more.

My opinion for what it's worth anyway.

The Friday night "rush" might help you get some of them... Though from the current figures it seems unlikely.

    Thanks for the insight guys.

    I'm fúcked so.

I have the team I want and don't really want to start deviating now.

I'll just have to go with a non playing keeper.

I know it's not ideal but can't you keep one player for a little longer and finalise your WC team in 1 or 2 GWs. e.g. David Silva & Gross are more than viable options for the coming GW and could get your awaited second rise next week. Now I don't know how much keeping one of them would affect your desired WC team and how many transfers that would imply. But if it's just for 2 or 3 transfers it might be worth going with e.g. D. Silva & Gross (who have a favourable fixture coming) and finalising your WC team over the next 2-3 GWs.

I did it once. Keeping players who originally were only money makers with a £4.0m non playing GK (to allow it) and it worked out OK despite keeping my non playing GK much longer than originally anticipated (the -4 for a GK making me hold on).

    ^^^^

I hear ya but to be honest I've been tricking about like a mo fo every week and I just want to finalise a team and try and have 2 x FT, as much as possible, over the coming weeks.

The idea of using WC and knowing I want to make transfers already is too much for my limited brain.

Yeah I understand you. I saw on the WC thread that you had DDG as your playing GK. Is it still the case? DDG & a non playing second GK (if you can't afford Elliot's £4.1m) would not be a pb for me ;). No GKs selection headaches anyway :p!

No. I toyed with the idea of DDG.

I'll be going Elliot and starting him every week. I'll stick Myhill on the bench in case Foster gets injured.

So few rises this week (my wildcard week)....now for me to forget to hit the wildcard button tomorrow!

Fuppit....Firmino holds but Heaton drops...still 0.1m short for Dilva and Aguerooo.

I had assumed that Heaton was protected due to being injured :confused:

A stinker of a week for risers on WC.

I had the 5 early risers (Saturday or Sunday) but nada since.

I only needed one to double rise for the team I wanted and two would have given me my 'dream' team.

    So I feel your pain.

Protection only happens when the red flag goes.

Very unlucky for you that it looks like you only needed a couple of extra hours with Lascelles, Gross & Dilva going over the 100% mark this morning :(...
