Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bizarre substitution from Leicester when Arsenal were camped in their half.

    2 immediate impacts.

    Fair play in fairness.

Don't know about Lennon but Bentley's getting ready for the Armagh championship in Cross tomorrow.

It could have been so much better though. Love the little fella with the oversized headphones; he looks like he should still be in secondary school!

They are making a big deal of the handball. It's just one of them things for me.

Watching Claude and him argue is quite funny.

It's coming down and he stops the ball dead with it. Should be a free out

wow Craig Shakespeare, just wow. You could see from the moment of the sub Arsenal had an extra man at every attack.

He just had to play his new shiny striker...

Yep; should have definitely been a free kick for Leicester.

Bringing on Kelechi was a bold and strange call from Shakespare and it back fired pretty badly.

Yeah; I did read that about him somewhere. I was more referring to his size; he looks tiny. His headphones are nearly as big as him!

Not at all it made sense. Once okazaki went off they were inviting too much pressure and ball was coming back way too quick and vardy was isolated. It was the right call at the time i thought, the problem was arsenal scored pract straight away through no fault of the change and got confidence and the crowd onside and the reat is history. I think same thing happens if they dont make sub tbh.

The video screen on wheels on the sideline is comical. Crowd shouting in the background.

So tacky. Hate that presenting from the sidelines ala BT.

Great game to start the season.
    Great entertainment and atmosphere.
Shyte defending will cost Arsenal if Wenger doesn't invest in a good no nonsense CB. Buy Van Dijk FFS.

Maybe, maybe not. Vardy and Marez had no legs left and he needed an out ball. Arsenal were coming on strong anyway at the time.

Only real difference, is that at least Neville and Cates asked pretty good questions. Other than that, yeah I can't stand the sideline presenting.

NBC had the studio as far as I know.

That's the impact Giroud off the bench can have. When he's fresh, and the opposition are tired, he can easily hold off two defenders with his hold up play and upper body strength. Leicester were finished when they tried to mark him out of the game, lost track of the runners.

Agreed. I can't see that lasting too long. The first foul mouthed crowd they encounter will put paid to it. And, as someone said earlier, when the rain is coming down horizontally and it's around 7 or 8 degrees, it won't seem as good an idea as it was when they thought it up.

Dreadful last 15 minutes from Leicester. Marking for Ramsey and Giroud's goals were as bad as the ones that Arsenal conceded. Two teams that will have problems in centre of defence and set pieces I think.

Was watching on TSN/NBC (guessing the Yanks give the Canadians a dirty feed) and the amount of swearing from the crowd was fantastic. Was it similar on Sky?

dudn't hear any swearing but the atmosphere seemed brilliant through the tv. No mentions of the "library" last night.

There was a defender hanging out of Girouds jersey when he scored. He's impossible to keep down as he's very strong.

It was great. "Fack off out this club Wenger!" "You're facking ****e Ozil" etc. Commentators constantly apologising. :P
