Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Seen this posted as an idea in the idea thread thingy so thought I'd see how it goes:

Discussion for the "lesser" matches this week. AKA the ones that wont get an individual thread!

    Chelsea vs. Burnley
    Crystal Palace vs. Huddersfield
    Everton vs. Stoke
    Southampton vs. Swansea
    West Brom vs. Bournemouth
    Newcastle vs. Spurs

I'll probably watch the Crystal Palace v Huddersfield match. Always interested to see how the newly promoted teams get on. Interesting also with Frank De Boer in charge of a potentially exciting Palace side too.

I'll dig up a stream for newcastle spurs, interested to see how everton perform as well.

Would this be the first time ever that the PL champions from the year before did not feature as a UK live game on the first weekend?

I know it's live in the ROI but not in the UK.

It's a strange one alright. I'd have thought that the champions first home game would carry more appeal than Watford v Liverpool anyway.

Newcastle play spurs tomorrow so everton stoke it is, the back 3 is the new back 4 minus one.

    Gary Cahill red card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Gary Cahill sent off.

Clumsy enough but not sure about a straight red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Harsh enough I thought but shouldn't be diving in like that.

Rooney should be right up top with Barclay in behind ,when he doesn't get bought, as he does not have the legs.

Very poor picture, not sharp at all.
Its the same on Spanish TV so it's something to do with the cameras.

Chelsea potentially top after final day 16/17, and bottom after opening day 17/18. Madness.

    WTF! chelsea being battered.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Been watching Everton Stoke, not the best of games but nicely worked goal.

What's going on with Chelsea? Only saw they were down 3-0 at home

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

The recruitment team need to take a long hard look at themselves, they've left Conte horribly bare for the first period of the season.

Conte also probably regretting how he handled the Costa situation, a world class striker going to waste and here Chelsea are starting Batshyuai and Boga.
