Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What the fcuk are the Chelsea fans going on about? Fabregas could have got a straight red card for that, never mind a second yellow. Crazy tackles by both him and Cahill.

  • Awful challenge. Some action in all fairness. Entertaining!

I think at this stage if the referee found the cure to world hunger, Chelsea fans would shout abuse at him. The amount of things they've incorrectly thought he was wrong about is impressive

Morata changes the game with a goal and an assist!

woohoo..triple points for him as my captain in fantast football.
Morata is a class player who's been successful in Italy and Spain..can't believe some morons were writing him off after a penalty miss.

Pawsons been Burnleys best player today.

    12 against 9

Pickford will be an excellent signing for everton, great save.

It seems he's doing the job of 10 other players too

TBF ye only have yourselves to blame. Seemed to be devoid of any creativity until Morata came on.

    Brilliant game. Had everything really.

    Love a good pissy crowd.

  • Burnley are brutal even if that's a great result for them.
Couldn't even compose themselves against 9 men. I still think they will go down.

Right, from the televised games (3) we have had 19 goals :D Man City up next which should give us some more

Club have done great getting Morata to the club. He's legitimately world class. The rest of the team needs work though. Waiting til the end if September for Hazard and Bakayoko isn't going to cut it.

Defeat nothing to do with the attitude of the players or the fact that two decided to make stupid fouls out of frustration no?

Pawson did a good job imo.

Have to agree with Brian Kerr on the radio. Chelsea have no depth to their squad yet they loan out around 20 players a year, with Loftus-Cheek and Zouma both starting in the PL today. While they had Scott and Tomori on the bench with Boga starting. Baffling policy.

Loftus-Cheek and Zouma don't want to be squad players, they are 21 and 22, they need to be starting week in week out. We need to bring in more players alright but those young lads want proper game time that they won't likely get here.

As much as i love Morata, he is a long way from being World class, he has the potential to be though so don't get me wrong.. you are over-rating him just as much as others are underrating him

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,586 ✭✭✭jaykay74

Ref got the 2 red card calls right. Burnley seem very poor. It'll be a surprise if they win another away game all season. Think they might have only won once away last year.

Yeah a long way to go for him, today was really positive though, his movement and runs were that of a top class player. He looks made for the league.

He loves playing off the shoulder of the defenders as you can see it means he is offside a lot.. but hey so was Inzaghi.. Ive no doubt he will be a cracking signing for ye, its the rest of the squad/depth that yiz need to worry about

How can Chelsea fans be agreived with the red cards? Cahill was awful with the tackle and Fabregas seemed in a huff/tantrum the whole match

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,926 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Fabregas was lucky he got a second yellow that should have been a straight red card for me and a 3 game ban not the 1 he is now going to get.

    That Brighton stadium looks great.

Still think City will win comfortably today though.

This is going to be a mauling, Brighton look terrified when city run at them

    Love watching Jesus play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

2 reds were correct, no argument.

However, arfield should have been sent off for the tackle on alonso which was as bad as cahill and he got nerly every free kick call incorrect.

We deserved a draw but the depth on the squad is a worry now with two reds today

The only thing incorrect here is that statement :D

I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that bars in the away section stock a local beer from where the travelling team are from. Simple but cool gesture.

Brighton have zero idea what to do when they get the ball past halfway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,160 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

Brighton doing well. Honestly thought they'd be 2 down

    Yellow? Poor decision.

I dunno, looked intentional to me.

Him staying down for so long doesn't help his case either. They always do that!
