    Any advice on this?

    De Gea - Elliot

    Kolasinac - Lascelles - Lowe - Mbemba - Long

Salah - Carroll - Grob - RLC- Ramsey

    Kane - Aguero - Lukaku

A bit light in midfield. Could drop Kane and upgrade to Silva or KDB

I'm not a fan of the Big 3, as I think it has too much impact elsewhere. However, if you are going with it I'd swap De Gea and Lascelles for Fabianski/Foster and Jones. Long is a non player so you are one injury away from playing double Newcastle defence as it stands.

If you want to keep faith with the Geordies and play DDG every week consider ditching Elliot for another 4M.
Upgrade long to 4.4/4.5 and go Atsu/Richie out of range perhaps instead of Grob.
Mbemba becomes your punty fifth with the good fixtures.

Currently looking at one of the following:

    Fabianski, Elliott
    Kolasinic, Davies, Jones, LASCELLES, MEE
    Salah, Mkhitaryan, Brady, RLC, RITCHIE
    Aguero, Kane, Vardy

    or

    Fabianski, Elliott
    Kolasinic, Davies, Jones, OTAMENDI, MBEMBA
    Salah, Mkhitaryan, Brady, RLC, GROSS
    Aguero, Kane, Vardy

Anyone care to express a preference?

What formation are you planning. Second one feels like a solid 442 but there’s a lot of money tied up in that back line.

I like the first option in a 343. Both good teams tbh.

Yup I agree but would favour the Otamendi squad if Gross was downgraded and money banked.

Mee could drop in price tonight. Ward/Tarkowski/Lowton are stable at 4.5 as possible alternatives.

If I go with the 2nd one I’ll play 4-3-3, but I’m leaning more towards the 3-4-3 option now. I like City’s fixtures, but they are prone to conceding, so I feel Ritchie has a good chance of outscoring Otamendi over the next few weeks.

    Cheers for the feedback.

Neither of us are Arsenal fans. It's based on fixtures

    Arsenal fixtures:

    West Brom(H)
    Brighton(H)
    Watford(A)
    Everton(A)
    Swansea(H)

So they'll likely be high up for next 3 gameweeks anyway

It’s a lot of eggs in one flaky basket. Would you consider Morata over Lacazette? Also has good fixtures and think he could catch fire with Hazard coming back.

I agree and I wouldn't do it on my personal team but we're trying to follow the stats as much possible

    Finalised team, going with:

    Fab Elliot
    Mendy Kola Alonso Jones Davies
    Eriksen Ritchie RLC Carroll King
    Vardy Aguero Kane

gonna play 523 for s while and see how it works. Can always change if it doesn't work out.

All I can see are permutations at this point. Going goggle-eyed. Current team is

    DDG / Eliiot
    Kola Bavies Naughton Lascelles Rosenior
    Mikhy Eriksen Dilva Ritchie Cork
    Lukaku Kun Wood

    I'll be playing a 343.

8 of the starting 11 are heavy hitters. So happy with that. Have spent a lot of time trying to find ways to upgrade Ritchie or Wood but does too much damage to the team balance.

Debating swapping DDG and Naughton for Fabianski and Jones. Gives me an extra 0.4m in the bank. Could be handy later on.

I'll be keeping an eye on Morata now that Hazard is coming back. If he delivers over the next few weeks I'll swap out Lukaku and Wood for Morata and Vardy for GW 8.

Will probably swap Cork for RLC purely so I'm not dropping a Burnley player for another Burnley player if I switch to 352. That said Cork is on the way to a rise and RLC has 4 weeks of rotten fixtures so might just sit on it.

    Thoughts on this:

    Elliot/Foster

    Monreal/Otamendi/Jones/Naughton/Mariappa
    Mkhitayran/Ritchie/Salah/Phillips/Oriol Romeu
    Aguero/Lukaku/Morata

Think I'm fairly happy with the team based on the next 5 game weeks.

Mariappa (fringe player I think when Watford get some defenders back from injury/suspension) Phillips and Romeu are close to price drops.

    I've gone from:

    Foster/Elliott
    Mee, Naughton, Mbemba, Low, Jones
    Miki, Salah, Ritchie, Gross, Carroll
    Lukaku, Kane, Aguero

    to:

    Foster/Elliott
    Ward, Naughton, Lascelles, Cedric, Jones
    Miki, Salah, Davis, Gross, Carroll
    Lukaku, Kane, Aguero

Thoughts? My one problem is losing Ritchie, I'd prefer him over Davies or Gross.

I could change Cedric to a defender 4.0 or 4.1 and upgrade Davis but who?

    Too early I think.

I would wait and see. Should play is not enough for that price imo.

    It's done thank fcuk:rolleyes:

    Fab
Kola Jones Tarkowski (Jones solid good price, Kola about to hit big fixture wise, tark prefer mee but may drop)
Miki Salah Silva Grob (Miki Salah Silva say no more- grob solid for now could become brady in a few weeks)
Aguero Kane Vardy (Two c choices and swapped firm for Vardy- safe game time and pen time)
    Elliot Lascalles RLC Mbemba

    Last minute tinkering and doubts.

I'm tempted to gamble that Krul will become number 1 at Brighton. It would free up some cash to improve elsewhere.

Pity no Brighton fans on boards. Ryan cost £5 million so fair to assume he's going to be first choice.

My other straight choice is between Ramsey and Antonio.

Ramsey has not been shy in getting into the box from what I've seen but Antonio is a beast and capable of a 15 pointer in any game. I feel Ramsey is the safe choice but I'm leaning towards Antonio.

I dont see the value in the mid mids arpund 7m mark
Id prefer grob and turn a 4.5 def to say kola. Or alonso and say rlc/ carroll

Me too. That's why I'm running with Alonso, Kloasinac and Bavies.

I have 7-8m for one slot in midfield so I've narrowed it down to those two.

I'm happy with the rest of my squad.

Edit - so instead of 3-4-3 I'm seeing it as no defenders, 7 midfielders and 3 strikers.

Double edit - I will want Pogba though once he's back and played a couple of games.

    Alonso, Kloasinac and Bavies.

I'm surprised so many are dropping Lukaku. Consistent performer over the years now playing in a better team and got 12 points last week.

Anyone suggest a better 4.5 than Lowe?

I’m going Lascelles & Rosenior rather than Mbemba & Lowe. It’s marginal.
