Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Umtiti is about as good as it gets.

Deulofeu looks waaay short of whats needed, then again replacing neymar is a thankless task.

    Why aren't Madrid wearing white?

Already Barca look to be leaning on Messi too much. They need a lot of work, Iniesta is walking around like it's an exhibition match

Showing off the third kit I'd imagine. It's all about the shirt sales

Not sure about that at all. He's pressed well with the team, gotten back into shape quickly off the ball and played a couple of great killer passes.

He's a very useful impact player but he clearly is not Neymar's replacement. That's Dembele.

Difficult enough to tell the teams apart when they are in a line across the pitch?
All I see is a merging of blue.

Whenever he got to play on the wing Arda Duran looked quality for Barca. Deulofeu looks far less imo. He played very well for Spain though in the world cup with very good link up play so it might just be jitters.

Isco is just sumptuous. Madrid had the better chances imo.

Barca actually look very structured. Early days but it looks like they're able to phase their play out out from the back. Big contrast to last season there already.

Vidal looks weak link at right back. He's been beaten 3 times iirc. Cannot understand why they're chasing paulinho or Coutinho and not addressing that gaping hole back there.

Agreed. Stupid and greedy decision on the choice of kits tonight.

Semedo is the player for that position, he's just getting into the swing of it.

Could have been a penalty, certainly not a dive

Ronaldo off  this match is mental

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Ronaldo going to be in a lot of bother for that push on the ref.

Amazing how the ref spotted Ronaldo diving and cheating but gave Suarez a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Never a dive or yellow, to push the ref is stupid

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 12,535 Mod ✭✭✭✭Amirani
