Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    This week's tv schedule.....

    Saturday

Genoa vs Verona 5 (Premier Sports 1)
Lazio vs Sampdoria 5.30 (Free Sports)

    Sun

Parma vs Udinese 11.30 (Premier 1)
    Milan derby 2 (Premier 1)
Atalanta vs Napoli 5 (Premier 1)
Benevento vs Roma 7.45 (Premier 1)

    Mon

Juve vs Crotone 7.45 (Premier 1)

Tomorrow is going to be class. Possibly the biggest day of the season so far.

    Line-ups for the derby:

Milan: G Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic

Inter: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Perisic; Lautaro Martinez, Lukaku

Not sure what I expect from it, Inter are in the better form but it's a derby and if they win Milan will go back top so they should be really up for it. Hopefully it's a good game anyway.

    Can Hakimi make half time?

Milan still look dangerous here so the 2nd half could be something special (hopefully)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,122 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Took Milan a fair while to to get any sort of chance and Inters set up really upset them for the first half hour

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,522 ✭✭✭dor83

Can see Milan getting a goal or two in the 2nd half, be typical Inter to lose it from here after having good chances in the 1st half.

Milan come out with the guns blazing

    What a save by Handanović

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,685 ✭✭✭✭wonski

    Some saves.

    Great start of second half.

Keeper beaten at his nearest post, should he have done a bit better or just a savage finish?

I think that near post thing is a bit of a myth. I never found them easier than far post shots where you have time to judge the ball as it's coming across your body

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,122 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

    Some goal by lukaku.

All 3 goals were cracking for different reasons

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,122 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Lukaku, Lautaro, Brozovic and Handanovic were all excellent.

Those saves at 1-0 were the big moment of the game. Outside of the goals obviously

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,640 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Looks like Gattuso is hanging on by a thread as Napoli manager

Really poor judgment to bring on defenders during a set piece which resulted in an Atlanta Goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,122 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Gonna be a crazy battle for top 4. Milan really need to get it together and beat Roma or they won't be long being more worried about 5th than 1st

    Some goal by lukaku.

Might be ready for move to big club

Pleased for Lukaku and Conte. Handanovic with some heroic saves too.

I'd like Inter to clinch the title but I suspect there will be a few twists along the way yet.

That's really a poor poor result for Roma

Great chance for Inter to keep the pressure on the chasing pack. Need to beat Genoa. Milan going to Roma could be a tricky one later.

Yeah it has been a cracking game, Milan have been the better team alright but Roma have had a couple of good chances too, should be more goals in the 2nd half.

Milan lost Ibra, Rebic and maybe Hakan to injury

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,122 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

    Wow that was tense

Very enjoyable match betwen Roma and Milan. Roma's record against the other teams in the top six is fairly woeful this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

That's a fine result for Milan. Thought they could have dropped points in that one.

Just watched the highlights of the Inter game and the way Lukaku dominated Genoa was awesome.

Important win for Cagliari in the relegation scrap. Very surprised they're in their current position with the talent in their side.

Lazio v Torino game postponed Lazio turned up but apparently Torino were not allowed to travel by their Local Health Authority.
This could get even more confusing as Torino had their game on Friday called off for similar reasons and that could cause an issue with tonight's.
    All a bit confusing really.

The teams self isolation ends tonight so I don't see why the game could not be moved. Either Lazio or FIGC is acting the muppet

Considering it was known they were playing on Tuesday night, it should never have been last minute.com though.

Udinese looking more than happy to go home with a 0-0 draw tonight. Still no goals at the San Siro and barely a real chance of one
