Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lazio win it at the end through Milinkovic- Savic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

    Parma, oh dear.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,640 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

My god what a game in Italy

Unreal come back by Cagliari but Parma must have the worse record in Europe losing from a winning position

Another early one for Milan tomorrow. Let's see if my superstitions about Milan and morning matches holds true

  • Registered Users Posts: 925 ✭✭✭TheadoreT

Yeah have had a sinking feeling Milan will drop out of top 4 the last while. Crazy how good they were in 2020, more points than any side if calender year was a league but been poor since new year. Wouldn't want to be relying on a result in Bergamo on the last day of the season, Atalanta have given them some pummellings in recent years.

No ronaldo or Bernadeschi in the Juve squad.
With a bit of luck La Dea will batter the hunchbacks.

    Ahahahah that Genoa defender.

Sadly they will probably be better without

With Atalanta, Juve or both dropping points tonight that was a very welcome 3 points

Simone showing the big brother no mercy

ugh what an awful game in Atlanta

Think both are happy with the draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,640 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Nice to see something happened in the game

    1-0 Atlanta

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,328 ✭✭✭Did you smash it

Both teams should still make it to the CL? if there is a CL?

Juve got a thrilling view of their future without Ronaldo that some pundits seem to be pulling for.

    Lazio Benevento, 4 penalties 2 autogol. 5 - 3. Insane

Not sure as a Milan fan would I prefer Inter or Napoli to win tonight. Inter win and top 4 hopes looking a lot more secure, Napoli win and the faintest hopes of a title still remain.

I think the more rational thing would be Napoli lose but either way it kind of win win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,522 ✭✭✭dor83

    Line-ups for Napoli Inter:

Napoli: Meret; Di Lorenzo, Koulibaly, Manolas, Mario Rui; Fabian Ruiz, Demme; Politano, Zielinski, L Insigne; Osimhen

Inter: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, A Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Darmian; Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez

The battle for 4th will be very interesting if Napoli win tonight and the way Inter have been playing I wouldn't be surprised if Napoli do win, should be a goot game anyway.

Such a clean strike from Eriksen. Took him a while to settle there but seems a vital cog now.

    Some strike

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,640 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Brozovic bomb tattoo is absolutely atrocious

Anyone know what's the story with Agnelli

Seems conflicting reports on him leaving Juve or not

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,122 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

So Inter drop 2 points so Milan go drop 3 just for the laugh.
Atalanta could go second on Thursday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,640 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Wow a unreal start in Naples

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Napoli massively deserved that win, they pretty much nullified Lazio all game.

Inter scrape another win. Horrible champions. Just solid and we'll organised. Hunchbacks poor today. Fiorentina should have won. Pirlo surely gone at the end of the season.

Agnelli staying true to his word and Juve trying hard not to be in the CL next year

That disallowed Verona goal was odd...

Good question. Can't think of anyone outside of Milan so gonna say Wilkins

Yeah I couldn’t think of anyone at all outside of John Charles. Forgot about Butch.

Fair play to Young. He’s a good pro and was one of the best players in the PL but Jesus it’s 10 or so years ago

Wilkins didn’t win Serie A after having wiki’d it.

    Gerry Hitchens 1963 Inter Milan.

Bit crazy it’s that long, I’ve never heard of hitchens. Died on a pitch a long time ago sadly.

English players were not likely to play anywhere outside of England for a good while.

This has changed in recent years.

Wanted to make a guess at it. Was pretty sure Beckham wasn't round for Milan's last and Ince never won one with Inter. Couldn't think of anyone else other than Wilkins even though I was pretty sure he was pre Berlusconi revival

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭pm1977x

I thought Platt at Juve but they didn't win it that season.

Faraoni made contact with Handas arm and which prevented him from catching it, rightly disallowed imo.

That's not enough to disallow it imo. They are both going up for a ball, of course there's gonna be contact.
It's not like he slapped his arms away.

He moved Handas arm enough to prevent him from catching it and that is more than enough to call it a foul the way the sport is now, you basically can't touch goalies anymore. When I watched it live I thought it should have been a goal myself but seeing the replays I think there is enough contact to disallow it. I'd also say that Faraoni isn't watching the ball and is just trying to put Handa off, not a genuine attempt to get the ball so is a foul.

Absolute joke of a decision against Milan. Lazio score on a break after winning the ball in a foul. Ref checks the video himself showing Hakan getting taken out but gives the goal anyway
