Beginner Drone for aerial photographs

Hi, first timer looking to buy a drone on a budget of about €140 max.

Looking to specifically look at aerial photography but not that pushed about video.

I would like it to have a decent enough range with a 4k camera if budget would allow. Not bothered if battery is not fantastic as 10 minutes flight time each go is plenty for what I'll require.

I was looking at the Bugs 3 Brushless motor drone but I'd then have to buy a camera to go with it.

Can anybody advise if this Bugs 3 drone is good and if so what would be a decent camera to go with it for aerial landscape shots etc.

According to everyone you need a drone that shoots in 4k.
I'm definitely not an expert as I've only recently bought my first drone (DJI Spark)

After reading a few threads, the DJI Phantom and the Xiaomi Drone are recommended. but they are close to 500 euros
The drone above has a fixed gimbal so the camera will be shakey, however on a less windy day the cameras software might correct any stability issues

You simply will not get a decent drone with decent camera for anything less than €500. DJI Spark is probably your best bet.

Or the Xiaomi 4k. It's down to 389. But it's way out of the price range the OP wants.

There's a thread on the mi drone in the models forum with lots of footage.

I had a Hubsan h501s before. That was 220e. There's nothing that gets close for the money and the footage was only ok and most shots were shaky.

This drone is very modifiable.

I'd use this as a stepping stone up then to the more expensive ~500euro+ drones.

You don't need a 4K drone, how many people have the monitors or phones capable of 4K, very few. Most Pros may video in 4K but downscale to 1080P max as there is just no point at present until 4K is the standard monitor / phone display

Very true. With the cheap stuff from Asia, my thinking is if there is a cheap '4k' camera for going for peanuts, it will be atleast 1080p and may even perform better.

Go with the bugs 3 and a separate wimius 4k camera.

It will come in around €150


€100 odd for the bugs 3.
€40 odd for the wimius.
+ some postage from Amazon to local parcel motel.

You'll probably need a micro sd card too.

The camera can be tilted up/down a little, your smartphone will give first person view via a free app from wimius.

Might buy the Hubsan for the wife. Gearbest seems to have the best price atm. How likely is one to get done for import duties and taxes from them?
