Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry to jump on the 'I hate FSG/Coutinho/Southampton/Transfer Window/everything' thread, but just came across a good post on Reddit about Liverpools sponsorship with 'Tibet Water' - a Chinese consortium that sells the resources of Tibet, namely water.
    https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/6tnh25/i_just_emailed_liverpool_regarding_the_deal_with/
    https://www.freetibet.org/water

Might be worth a read and worth sending a message to LFC if you feel strongly about it. I did earlier.

    FIRST

    Sixth looks more likely.

We don't need Coutinho for another year, if we did that we'd be back to where we are now, we just need a few months out of him, he can walk in May and we can replace him.
Seems no one is talking to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

If Dembele is going through for €100 million and Paulinho for €40 million, it doesn't really leave them with enough for him if they are as cash strapped as they're supposed to be.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 430 ✭✭Doodoo

Apparently we are the bookies favourite to sign Julian Draxler. Can't see it happening seeing as he only signed for PSG in January.

I assume that is why they are trying to stagger payments...spending money they havent earned yet ;);)

I know thats the reason Dortmund are insisting on the money upfront, no staggering payments or performance related deal.

Favourite to sign all the Germans

We should also only be selling with a massive fee upfront. No installments, no addons.

Club holds the aces here. WC year, he's not gonna sulk and risk chance to play for Brazilian team.

Exactly what Liverpool should be doing. Reality is we're not going to be looking at a player from them in the near future so we've nothing to lose by demanding it.

Has Seri had his toe nails done yet, better buy him a snood while we're at it.

FSG will have toe foot the bill for that.

I couldn't care if we play sh!te and come away with a win.

If we go out over the two legs though Coutinho will be ran out of the club.

What poem is that from, is that James Joyce?

    Seeing as we're reminiscing .

'' There is more driftwood over Jenner Park and over Barry Island than we have in our academy and in out first team ''

I'm starting to think Klopp's words are chosen very carefully and purposely so that when Coutinho isn't sold that it will be down to FSG and not Klopp.

This is done with the hope that Coutinho won't hold the grudge against Klopp and affect long-term how he plays but against FSG for not selling him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,561 ✭✭✭Umaro

That's my thought too. Leaves the door open for him and Coutinho to reconcile when the window closes.. If FSG are true to their word and he stays.

How about signing George Graham to sort out that defence? Honestly, how to defend set plays effectively is hardly the holy grail of football coaching.

Not sure but it was bet into Catholic kids in the 70s, may god forgive or parents...

    See what I did there..!!

Anyway back to the madhouse, I cannot believe Klopp wants to starts the season with this squad, he must have a couple of tricks up his sleeve (closes eyes tight and hopes).

No to throw gummy bears at the opposition players. Master of distraction.

It would be a shame to lose him, we dont look capable of identifying and getting replacements or upgrades too which is a worry....
