Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TAA has been poor today, no final ball except for the first one whipped in.

We'll never score a corner again

Coutinho's not up to speed at all today.

Poor for a senior international level full back that we'd be expecting to play at RB for Liverpool.

    He's been alright.

Terrible crosses make me terribly cross! No composure at all. Need to get Solanke on I think - put a few balls on his head.

Still some gorgeous play from him, both individually and with his interplay with Bob.

Absolutely. If they're going to keep going down the flanks, they have to have someone to aim for.

He's had better games even by his standards

That header by Can was woeful.

I'd bring Solanke on. We are getting some joy aerially which is unusual so Solanke might be worth a crack.

It's poor enough really. Coutinho will probably get the winner now after me saying this but he's been fairly poor imo.

Okay how many 50/50s did Liverpool lose in that 20 seconds? 5? 6?

    What?

Well done Phil, another brutal shot. This front 4 just doesn't work at all.

Milner is less a centre-mid than he is a left back.

There's a reason he's been a utility player his whole career.

This double change is big, Firmino off instead of Sturridge is a bit annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Need some changes now. That and just keep giving the ball to Salah.

If he was a senior international full back and delivered this kind of performance you'd be fairly critical.

For a young lad he's done alright.

He's had better games and good games by anyone's standards. This is one of the poorer ones but he hasn't been terrible or anything.

I can see it if it's a front two with Sturridge lurking for Solanke's knock-downs. Not sure how Milner stays on though.

Can has had a poor 2nd half

Was Milner giving Matip a talking to for the clearance off the line? WTF

Thank god for Matip on the line

Get Klaven off for Lovren. Yes, that's how bad Klaven is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

You get sick of watching the same shambles at the back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Joke defending. Liverpool are so, fcuking awful at corners - at both ends.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,503 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

    Oxbowlake-Chamberrock is making decent runs.

We haven't been as fluid today up front.

    Looks knackered to me.

Should've been replaced by Hendo about 10 minutes ago.

Burnley contesting the centre of the pitch has really stifled us up front. Credit where it's due, Dyche is pretty good tactically.

    Just not happening.

Keeper got extremely lucky there, no real skill involved in that save.

Sturridge holding onto the ball a bit to long as well

Completely cut Salah's standing leg from under him, the assistant at the very least needs to see that.

Obligatory worldie save from unknown keeper at Anfield.

Looked to me that Mee won the ball lads, but it's a crap stream so not hugely clear.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

This Liverpool team is so easy to play against. Just sit deep and defend on the edge of the box in numbers, they’ll gift you a goal at some stage and then struggle to break you down for 90 minutes.

Only time there’s ever some change is when a team comes to attack, which is increasingly rare.

Meanwhile Man City just hammered Watford 6-0, at team who scored three times against Liverpool.

Don't think i've once been impressed with Klopp's subs, even in hindsight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,689 ✭✭✭bur

Four minutes with all time wasting that's gone on is pathetic.

Not that an extra ten minutes would help us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,952 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

    Worst corners ever
