Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wilson has amazing stats over the last year or so. Pity he'll probably never get a go at senior level.

He might but he's unlucky that he's in a position where there's a traffic jam.

I dont watch the young lads play but a mate of mine does and he's always talking about Wilson.
I suppose its frustrating if yer a kid with talent trying to get through when its a position we're covered in and then if yer a talented LB/CB right now yer gona get possibly fast-tracked even if yer less gifted than Wilson in his position.
But thats why loans are there, just gotta handle it right for him.

They're crazy, people are banging on about Woodburn with some justification but Wilson is on another level when it comes to end product. Curtis Jones at U18s is also really making an impact now. Another reason to lament the lamentable League Cup exit.

Be such a pity to fritter away the best generation of players since the Fowler to Gerrard era.

At least there's the mini-champions league thing to give another level of competition for them anyway I suppose.

Leaked emails claim Liverpool told Barcelona to 'stop harassing Philippe Coutinho'

'I ask you amicably to stop harassing Coutinho publicly and privately. No amount of money will change our minds'

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

So Barcelona lied? That can't be the case surely.

You wouldn't think it was match day and certainly not one against one of the recent premiership league champions!

So Coutinho's agent would have gotten a €10m fee if he could have kept the transfer fee under €100m.
The draft contract of employment for the 25-year-old, written on the letter of FC Barcelona, had 20 pages and was dated 31 August, one day before the end of the transfer period. In this paper, Catalan Coutinho offered a guaranteed income of 115 million euros for a five-year contract. His consultant should receive 10 million euros in fee as long as the fixed sum for the player would not be more than 100 million euros.

    http://www.spiegel.de/sport/fussball/fc-barcelona-garantierte-philippe-coutinho-115-millionen-euro-a-1169340.html

And now wonder Coutinho wanted to go Barca would have paid him €115m over 5 years before bonuses by the looks of it.

Yep. In great form at the minute. I'll need a padded cell by half 7 no doubt.

Mad that today's game has been built up into a must win. It isn't but I think we'll do enough to win anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 310 ✭✭kfrp

Klop is not far from the chop.

Poor performance in all competitions so far.

Unlikely to win anything this year and zero progress being made.

A bad result today will put pressure on.

Coutinho still likely to leave in Jan or next summer or not be motivated, Sturridge is just a passenger.

If Firmino or Mane get injured big problems.

Lack of decent defence or ability to fix the problem.

Overpaid for Oxlade-Chamberlain by about €25 million!

Signed keeper no better than what he had already.

Scrambled egg, toast, three rashers, and enough ketchup to turn the plate into something that would make Gordon Ramseys butt constrict so quickly that it would give him haemorrhoids.

An absolute hot mess, but damn, is it tasty.

I guess what I'm saying is, I hope Liverpool are much like my late breakfast; crude but effective. And tasty. Very, very tasty.

Although then people will think you're keeping them in suspense...

And lets get this straight ye pack of helmets, ketchup is perfectly fine with breakfast goods such as bacon and sausages. I'm far from advocating it with steak.

Now someone go make a saucy match thread.

I'd say you're right, but we better put that thought to rest because one of us will be six feet under before we think of it.

Don't think so. Must be a bit annoyed that he doesn't even make the bench. Hate that midfield

I know but you guys have a headerball like Jones who throws himself in front of everything. It's really what this back 4 need.

Its a game we would have drawn or lost last season.

We were all over the place in midfield
