Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ah FFS, do TV3 not realise that the Liverpool fanbase is bigger in Ireland.

If your a meteor or Eir bill pay customer you can get the app for free. I watched the Liverpool and Leicester game the other day on it. Handy

    Good article.

"English football awards Good Defending Points for the sort of things the fans cheer; the spectacular saves, the last-ditch tackles, the thumping clearing headers. The fact that your players only have to do these things because you are failing to control the game further up the pitch seldom seems to occur to anybody."

Would be great if someone put this argument to the English pundits who are still living in the 80s/90s, where you didn't cross the halfway line if you were a fullback.

Ha listening to 606 from Saturday and they interviewed Klopp who talked about the foul on Simon on the 1st goal and they just ignored it

What app is this you speak of?

If you are a Mobile only customer (applies to old Meteor customers too) you can download the Eir Sport Red app, lets you watch but not cast.

Eir Residential customers get the Eir Sport Green app that can cast to a TV.

A win tomorrow and sunday would be great in keeping the positivity going and the confidence flowing for the utd game after the international break

You're not 100% correct on this as it doesn't apply at all packages.

I'm on an old Meteor SIM only bill pay pack, now with EIR and I'm not entitled to use the app. Annoying.

UGH! International breaks should be banned, really takes the steam out of the league.

There are no points for a clean sheet.

As Alonso said 10 years ago, if you are making a tackle, you've already ****ed up.
    May be paraphrasing there.

They only give you that if you can't score either. Don't get it just for the clean sheet.

No points for a clean sheet.

If there's ever an ex-player that I'd love to come back and manage us - assuming he proves himself - it's Xabi.

Well you're either getting 1 or 3 so Knex is right. A mimimum of 1.

Just embarrassing him in public like Klopp did is probably the better way to go I think.

Mignolet was joint top for most saves at the weekend.

Sounded like Bryan Swanson from Sky alright.

Pathetic questioning and nothing really about the game.

    Translator was awful too.

Liked Klopp's answer about Conte and Chelsea though.

One of Barca’s newspapers has headlines tonight that we will sell Coutinho either in January or next summer for €200m to Barca deal already done.

    I dunno about that tbh.

A wreckless peno and a dubious decision to go for a corner it didn't look like he had a hope of getting.

I hope this isn't the standard of performance I have to praise I'm the future.

I wouldn't read anything into that. The most important stat is he had 3 major errors that did or should have cost goals.

The most important stat is 2-3 putting the three points on the table for lfc.

Usually 2 shots on target is 2 goals for the opposition so it is a improvement for Mignolet.

That's about the 3rd time the deal has been done at this stage.

Specifically when assessing the quality of an individual player's performance?

Apparently tonight is Klopp's first chance to play Salah, Mane, Firmino & Coutinho all together. Doesn't sound right to me initially but I can't remember if they played together in pre-season

Either way, it does get the mouth watering in anticipation

Mane was recovering for most of the pre-season then Coutinho had that "back injury" and wasn't available till after Mane got send off.
