I'd take the point right now! The issue of one player for every actual position has come up before, part of Liverpool's problems are too many cooks in a given situation where two players jump for the same ball, everyone piles forward but into the same attacking zone at the same time which is pretty easy to defend. Noticed a few times on Saturday where someone wide had the ball they looked for the cutback inside but everyone was well inside the 18 yard box when someone needed to be running with intent a bit further out. The third man run.

Just looked at their goal and I wouldn't go blaming Karius for that, it was struck fairly well albeit not exactly in the corner but still struck very hard.

Can has been dire lately and Karius moved like he had been standing in 2 feet of mud. In his wellies.

Not a chance would I take a point, we're all over them. Can did what he always does and went daydreaming in midfield, only this time he actually got dispossessed and it led to a goal. Karius was awful for the goal, middle of then and it still goes in.

I think pretty much everyone else has been quite good. Don't think Firmino's been nearly as bad as some are making him out to be here, few bad touches sure, but that's about it.

Should have had a penalty, no doubt. Ref gave a free kick but no booking for that scummy stamp from Popov too.

Its cause people care and we spend all week reading the same articles pointing out the teams flaws (which are there) that they become all we think about. We forget that we're the second best attacking side in the league (after city). I know United have scored more but I think at full flow we're better.

Why exactly is that not a penalty? At what point does the keeper get any of the ball, despite absolutely cleaning Salah out? Yes the ball has gone away from him but that has never stopped refs in the past.

That's sort of the point of our system though. The 9 clears the area for the wing forwards to make runs into.

We're getting so much ball around the box though, would like Sturridge on centre forward.
