3 of the so called fab four have been ****e.

And other than the goal Coutinho has barely had a look in.
Cracking goal though.

And we've played decently enough in the main. Other than the goal and a bit of the pace dropping out of our play after it went in, the 90% of it has been fantastic.
We just **** the bed in the box, every single time.

It's very hard to be optimistic about the season ahead with the way we are conceding goals. I don't think our problems will be sorted by signing Van Dijk either, it's a system problem I think.

I'm a massive fan of Klopp but he has really messed up not sorting out the defence. We have zero chance of winning anything this season. If the defence is not sorted by this time next season then he will be under massive pressure.

They won 6-1 today. He played the full 90 minutes and didn't get booked.

Watching Van Dijk yesterday, bar the peno :pac:, looked exactly what we needed. Much faster than Matip and Lovren, better with the ball in isolated positions, stronger, better in the air, looked a leader.......sure there will still be some issues with the system but goals like the one we just conceded is hardly system based......it was the slowest break away from a striker I've ever seen tbh...

The way we lost the ball for the goal was a mess. We're winning 1-0, there's no need for Henderson to be so far up the pitch leaving only our CBs back. He plays a fairly simple pass to Sturridge who controls it really poorly and gives it away.

How have we been counter-attacked while winning?

The last 5 and half games scorelines can be laid fully on our attacking players not taking the chances.


Scoring 1 in 17 chances (that is getting bigger if you include todays half game.) is not good enough for the 7/8 players we have rotating in those positions.

Letting a striker and a straight 40 yard ball split you as centre halfs is pathetic. One of them has to be closer and not letting him a free run.

They don't even look like they're paying attention to him or the ball

No it wasn't. It was a straight forward pass down the middle. The awful positioning of Matip and Lovren makes it look great. You shouldn't concede goals like that in amateur football.

After 7 games - the table is the table and is remarakble how it is the best teams are at top.

7 games is 1/5 of your games - it is the shape of the season.

I think a lot of what Klopp is doing is correct, especially offensively. I think his player recruitment has been very good overall.

Where I am with you is on the defensive side of things, there has been no improvement since he arrived.

A lot can change tbf. A lot of football to be played. I've given out a lot about the defence but I'm not exactly ready to give up on the season this early.
