Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im trying to wait until the end of the transfer window before I go off on one but it's not easy.

I'd say you could nearly start drafting it. Doesn't look like a lot will change...

Ah. Maybe I missed the irony in his reportage

There you go again, taking that lad seriously. I'd say Jermaine and irony are only distantly acquainted.

"If a player deserves to move on to bigger things, like Barcelona, it should almost be like: 'Thank you for everything, you've done brilliantly, now on your way.'"

Why not just charter him to Barcelona or real and give them 50 million for the trouble of taking him off their hands.

Anyone watching the U18s? I canna find a stream. The Norwegian lad Tagseth seems to be making an impression though I think Curtis Jones is going to be the next big thing from that age group.

FT 3-2 Tagseth directly involved in two.

Jermaine Jenas just made my sh1t-list. He can feck right off with his "Liverpool are damaged by Coutinho stance" horse sh1t. It's obvious he wants his beloved Spurs to finish above Liverpool again year, I just thought he had more about him as a pundit and a person to publicly agitate for the release of a top quality player from the Premiership. What a nonce. Feck off and mind your own business you irritating obsequious knob end.
Does it hurt Chelsea that Costa has been ridiculing his club for the past year? There is no comparison between the supposed "damage" done by Coutinho to Liverpool compared to Costa's to Chelsea. Coutinho is a complete amateur when it comes to "causing trouble for his club" and Jenas should recognise that and shut his cake hole.

You're not keen on him then?

Now, what would annoy me today would be Sakho celebrating a Palace goal this afternoon.

First game of season at an impressive looking Anfield and it's the home side who are fearing the trip, not the away team.

The number of possible outcomes doesn't change the number of horses entering a race! A race with 2 horses in it can end as a draw.

If I had a house I would put it on him scoring today. :(

Maybe that's why you don't have one

After we took him from the Inter reserves when no one else was willing to take a chance on him and turned him into a start he has basically gone on strike at the very first offer from a big club. That shows incredible selfishness imo and has forever changed my opinion on Coutinho tbh.

TAA and Moreno both suited and booted for the stands as team arrived.

    So Robertson and Gomez presumably

Most players push for the move when the offer comes, Barcelona is a dream move for south American players and I don't blame him, he's still not going though so he will have to suck it up

Didn't think there'd be that many changes. Gonna assume it's a diamond with Mane and Sturridge up top together, or at least hope.

Good to see Studge back but that's hell of alot changes. Interesting to see how Klavan and Robertson get on. Can't do worse than the other two they're replacing mind!

A back 4 that has never played together, yep that's what we need to face Ben Treky

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Bring back Lucas.

    United scoring at will now.
two wins, 8 goals, thus far

    No salah. Hmmmmm.

Happy with the changes in defence though.

No Lovren and Moreno can only be a positive

Ok, so no Moreno is a good thing.. Not exactly inspiring beyond that..

No Moreno and Lovren is a plus. Gomez at RB and Klavan though......hope they do well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 433 ✭✭koppy

Happy with that team. Slight worry with Kagan but otherwise very happy. Think Gomez could become a top player for us. Needs a run of games though. Nice to see how him and Robertson get on

So then everyone squarking about Mane and it's Salah who is being protected/rested/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,468 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Would be great if Ro Bert Son make this position his own today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,468 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Flanagan makes the bonch ahead of Moreno.
Our squad looks weak when you look at whos on sidelines .

I think Klavan usually played with Lovren last season.

Hopefully the cooler head next to him will sort him out.

He's decent enough. It's moreso over 3 or 4 games where he starts to be exposed.
    He'll probably be alright

I really don't know what the deal is with Gomez. He can go from looking imperious to utterly out of his depth in the space of 10 seconds.

The forward line is ace though, assuming part of it doesn't break.

It's not great overall but it really should be enough.
Hopefully this isn't setting the tone for the season and as fitness improves, players come back to fitness or out of their sulk and maybe we get someone in, we don't have to see this kind of slapdash lineup every other week.

Hope it's not the main man pushed out wide to accommodate Broken Daniel.

Matip is far from a cool head, tbh he's another liability and is every bit as bad as Lovren,he had another nightmare against watford

Matip has done nothing at Liverpool for you to suggest he has a cool head,he was like Bambi on ice against watford

Klopp was actually serious with milner being a new CM option for us. Jesus.

Feels like the squad is already stretched and it's only the 3rd game of the season. That's not good.

One of our defenders would have mis kicked that to a Palace player or into the net.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Greedy from Milner...should've pulled it back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,035 ✭✭✭✭J Mysterio

Delighted there is no Lovren. He is woeful. Much prefer Klavan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Sturridge really has no fight, just so easy to bundle off the ball and go to ground for a whinge.

    Wow, Matip.
