Our central midfield isn't for for purpose as it stands - especially with CL football - so to leave as is would be asking for trouble. And that's before addressing chronic issues at the back.

“Trent had a little dead leg but was not too serious, Emre twisted a little bit but shouldn’t be that serious. Nothing happened yesterday, so it should be OK.”

His goal celebration is going to go wrong one day. His second looked potential nasty, but it had no serious effect.

Dortmund just announced on their website that a fixed sum of €105 million and a futher €40 million performance related will flow for Dembele. More or less only have to dot the Is and cross the Ts.

I doubt the Dembele thing affects the Coutinho deal. Phil is Iniesta/Xavi's successor, not Neymar's. Neymar's fee just covers the cost. Or doesn't, as it turns out.

If they sign Couts and Dembele then it will be €210 million up front for both and the rest when they sell Messi next year.

Squad has to be in 11pm on 1st Sept

List A has to be submitted by the following fixed deadlines:
a. 19 June 2017 (24.00CET) for all matches in the first qualifying round;
b. 6 July 2017 (24.00CET) for all matches in the second qualifying round;
c. 20 July 2017 (24.00CET) for all matches in the third qualifying round;
d. 7 August 2017 (24.00CET) for all matches in the play-offs;
e. 1 September 2017 (24.00CET) for all further matches from the first match in
the group stage up to and including the final.

Dunno what Barca think they have in Dembele , but he's no Neymar, he's a goal every 1/4 of a season player. Neymar was a goal every 1.7 games.
Hope he flops, never heard of him before they made him the second most expensive player in history of football.
