Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Klopp on Mignolet: "It is just because I want to let him have a rest after this really intense time with really good performances for us"

    Makes no sense at all

No is not injured where have you been all day?! Dropped from the squad and he wants to know why according to Belgian media.

Could have a break after this game, its not like he was flat out recently....

Well, at least Karius will get plenty of practice today!

Yeah, that's hard to understand. Is Mig in Anfield now?

No sense whatsoever . Keeper needing a rest? Dropping him from the squad? There must be more to it as it is a completely bizarre thing to do.

Sorry Harry, we don't all have time to read every post!!

Ah right, weird one. Very weird. I find it hard to believe there's no reason tbh. He's not done anything ridiculous yet this season .

Going into the international break and a game at home to arsenal klopp sure is playing with fire dropping mig for karius, hopefully he has a good game however. **** or bust for the lad anyways so has to show his worth now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,068 ✭✭✭Tipsy McSwagger

The only thing that could make sense of dropping Mig and starting with that god awful defense (bar Matip) is Klopp is showing FSG that he needs money available to buy decent defenders and a goalkeeper.

    IT'S NOT A CONSPIRACY.

Klopp: "Simon is rested, that is all. He won the race and was really strong for us but we need the other two boys (Karius and Ward)"

Or maybe he knows what he's up to. If he can turn a hairdresser into our main man he might be able to work his magic here.

I can't believe FSG have dropped Mignolet. They should have given him 50m to play.

    Toxic for the club.

Linda fancies Karius and got John W to pick him.

We have 2 weeks to wait until we find out if Mignolet is back in goal as first choice anyhow against City. Maybe this is just to take focus off the transfer situation?

    /tinfoil hat

Klopp is starting Karius to show can that he's not the only player in the team who can play with great hair, maybe get him to lower his contract demands.

I think Klopp expected a Barca/Coutinho story today so decided to pre-empt it with his own story.

Mig isn't great but hasn't had a calamitous spell of late.... unless he's gone to sh1t in training.

Karius has done nothing in a Liverpool shirt in a game to suggest he's better than mig.

Very strange, I reckon he's biased towards karius as he bought him to be #1... karius is dogsh1t IMO

If our back four diamond was half as strong as our front four diamond we would be awesome.

    Mignolet

    Matip
    Lovren

    Henderson

Those four don't really inspire anyone that they will not concede.

Compared to the front four who look like they could score for fun.

    Countinho

    Mane/Salah
    Salah/Mane

    Fun Bobby

This could be very true and very clever if true.

No one in the media has really mentioned Coutinho today.

    It'll always be tough with 8 v 11.

Milner should also be starting in one of the fb positions.

Coutinho likes the part of his contract that has given him a million plus pounds in last few weeks, but the Diva won't put on his bitch boots for club.
It's getting really annoying, I can understand wanting to leave, but I will never get how he can do what he is doing. We all know he is not injured, although I bet he will not play after window closes just to keep this charade of an injury going.

He's painted himself into a corner alright. I'm very dissapointed in him.

If you told me a month ago that we'd be playing this game against Arsenal with Moreno, Gomez and Karius starting, I'd have laughed in your face.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,035 ✭✭✭✭J Mysterio

Moreno played well against Hoffenheim. Kloppo is going for maximum attacking pressure, counting on high possesion.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Have to score there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Henderson doesn't even look up. Just gets the ball and tries a high ball into the box whether we've a player there or not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Henderson killing us... every pass is ****...

Seriously give Can the captaincy and a huge pay rise and promise him the games.

Henderson is killing this attacking team.

This is brilliant. I take back all the bad vibes. Trust in Klopp.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Best defence seems to be not letting Arsenal near it.

    Ahhh Henderson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Well there is the keeper fcuk up.

    Very lucky.

    Karius.....there are no words

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

In Karius defence there was no need to put that back to him there.

Not that he shouldn't have done better mind.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Filthy from Welbeck.

I think Karius is trying to emphasise he is a 'ball playing keeper'. Kinda ****ing up at that though so...

Our defence is like lemmings when one jumps off a cliff they all jump off.

He'll do well to last to 90...Sanchez and Ramsey will be flopping on the ground at every opportunity.

Just enjoy the game. We are playing sexy football and beating the arse.
