Anyone ever tried to carry a set of rollers over their shoulder on a bike?

Going to buy a set off a lad tomorrow, wondering how feasible it is to cycle there and back (they seem light enough, but look like they might be awkward).

    Anyone have experience of similar?

    Thanks,
    E.

This sounds a bit like those top gear challenges.:D
Next challenge would be to carry a set of rollers on back while cycling bike on a set of rollers.

I'm not sure you fully understand the concept of rollers yet ..... :D

Seriously though, I wouldn't. Too many ways to cone a cropper.

I always leave my rollers in until I am just about to put my helmet on.

    Tried.
    Failed.
Working on some sort of strap system.

Giant, purpose designed backpack might be the only way forward.

If you have a bike you don't mind stretching and neat enough rollers you can carry them open like a ladder on your bike. That I have seen.

Sure, and keep it cool at the same time.

Thanks for all the replies =D
I guess I will just take the metro, so. But once I have the rollers, I will try and do a little test in a controlled environment, and will be sure to post a video of the outcome on this thread.

Hold on. If you turn the rollers roller-side-down on the road, then put the bike on them, you should be able to pedal them home...
