Nice space but looks like walking into a digital marketing agency, not a home...

    The chairs are horrible.

I was thinking similar, the colours look like their from some kind of Snapchat filter.
It's gorgeous, but I'd have a headache after a night in there I'd say.

The ultimate for me, especially the outside.

I'm almost certain I've seen that house before-does it belong to a celebrity?

I reckon you could get it for about €600k. The market for apartments at that price point is thin anywhere in Dublin-in that area it's non-existent.

That apartment is clearly a Bachelor's gaff. I don't find it bad, add a balcony and I'd move in there any day over a semi D in leafy subdub.
At least it would have the perfect display for my million houseplants that probably get more love and attention than my kids :pac:

I wouldn't be in the know. It just came up when I was drooling over properties in France.

Interesting to see this up for sale, it really is a nice house. Funnily enough it was only finished in the last few years, so current owners haven't stayed too long. It was a concrete shell for 4 or 5 years, with a crane left onsite swinging in the wind. I can only assume the original owner was a victim of the crash.

You’d need a pretty thorough survey done. All sorts of problems buried there.....

Yeah, I've no idea what effect that would have. If you look on Google Streetview, you can still see its shell state.

Have they photoshopped in the flames in both the fireplaces?

This is a beauty, though not for sale but a restauration project:

An old half-timbered house in Paris with contemporary interior. I love old houses, but I do like all mod cons as well. They did a great job.

I'm not into city living, but this one (and Paris) would convince me otherwise.

If you look at the majority of property listings, all the fireplaces are ‘live’. These are all photoshopped in.

That is a very unusual house you posted Carry. Are they beds in the second picture?

In the second picture? Eh no, this is the living room with a wide fireplace and two sofas.
The two colourful rooms with alcoves have children's beds (pic 12 and 13).
Apparently it's owned by a family with two small kids and I guess that they tidied up for the architectural photos. With two kids it wouldn't look so neat and clean. Or they took the pictures before they properly moved in.

Yes, it's very unusual, it's the kind of house you would find in Normandy, not in Paris.

I once stayed in a similar house somewhere in Normandy, but that was from the 1500s (!), all wonky and askew but immensely atmospheric and inside with a gorgeous laissez-faire and yet elegant style as only the French manage to do.

Lovely on the outside, too sterile and hospital like on the inside. Could be easily remedied all the same.

Ah yes thats right. I was looking at the pics on my phone last to first. I can get a better sense of the place on the laptop. It´s beautiful but it reminds me of something almost sinister. Those little beds in the alcoves give the creeps.

I love how houses and interiors can create such different opinions and feelings in us :)
