Recommend a fishing Spot?

    Five of us are looking to go for a weekends River fishing. Want to stay over somewhere Friday and Saturday night in mid-September. We are located in Laois but would like to travel somewhere. Any county will do. We would like to stay in a lodge or something of that nature but we can also tent if needs be, we are not fussy. We would like to fish for trout. Really don’t want to go out on a boat and want to stick to a river. Some of us fly fish and some of us bait fish.

    Can anyone recommend a spot where we could get accommodation and such trout fishing combined or close to one another? A weekend package would be nice and handy.

    why don't ye try the river laune in killarney plenty of bed and breakfast hotels there and trout fish can be good
