Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Leather handbag care - advice?

I've recently been very lucky and ended up with a few very nice leather handbags, and I'm wondering if anyone can give advice on how to keep them looking good?

And where do I buy products?

I tried a couple of cobblers, and they all said caring for a handbag was different from shoes, so I'm looking for advice on where to get products to keep them clean, and the leather looking supple?

As it's my first time owning fairly expensive handbags, I'm a bit paranoid every time I see a little mark on crease on them, which I assume is normal?

    Many thanks in advance :)

I would have thought saddlesoap and a leather conditioner would be what you want to use but if cobblers are saying it's different maybe not.

There's a great place on Harcourt St that has fixed a few leather satchels for me, might be a good place to pop in or ring if you're around Dublin.

I see from your other posts you recently got a Coach bag. When I bought my Coach bag, I bought a leather cleaner and moisturiser set from them. Staff in the store (in the States) were very helpful in advising how best to care for it. So maybe try popping into them in Arnotts or Brown Thomas (or even Kildare Village) and see what they advise.
