Upgrade to Huawei 525

This is an update to an earlier posting.

For the last 18 months I've been using Meteor MBB on a Huawei E5372. I wasn't comfortable depending on a mobile device, so I have just installed the desk top 525, which gives me other options such as homeplug.
There is no noticeable difference in performance, I still get 3 to 5x the 4.3Mbps download speed of the old landline, plus 20x the upload speed.

The 5372 showed 5 bars of signal when used with a Solwise indoor antenna rated at 3 dBi on band 20. For some reason I don't understand, the 525 shows 2 or 3 bars. A different calibration?

One oddity, when I use the browser to change the antenna setting [internal, external, mix, auto] the device show 3 bars on internal and 2 bars on the other 3 settings. I have left it on auto. No performance differences seen between the settings.
